Welcome man! New to growing myself but I’ve already learned a lot, with a lot ahead of me! Growing can be done on any budget, and the best way to learn is just to do it!

If you have a grower to shadow then yes, do that!! There’s only so much to read though. A lot of the learning comes from just doin it find the medium you want (soil for me is easiest, I failed miserably at coco) and you can get a full grow set up on amazon for around 200-400$ If you wanna do indoor. Or diy it.
I’m doing “trial” runs with bagseed I have found before purchasing quality genetics

We have a veterans group here where we help other vets out. Clones. Seeds. Help. Medavet. Alaska. I think there’s at least one advocacy group more here. Welcome and good luck.
