The Public Sucks

I think the Democrats should hide the Clintons for this election, trump has destroyed their reputation, I don't think they can help the campaign. Use them to secure their last elections voter and move on. It seems like the Democrats have too many choices and too many split minds and loyalties within the party. A lot of Bernie supporters felt cheated by the Democrats, their own party, last election. If Bernie loses again, I doubt the majority of will show support for another candidate. While the Republicans know they are going trump and can build off from his old support ahead of time.
Every Democratic Socialist leader is a member of the Democratic Party. They are working with other members of the Democratic Party who represent less left leaning districts and together are at the very least stymieing Trump and his ultra right wing Senate's initiatives while pushing a leftward agenda. Yet you continue to run down the Democratic Party and not Republicans.

Why is that?

Wouldn't be great if all political parties were banned? And we voted on policies rather then brands? Just a thought.
Policies brought to us by the Koch Brothers.

Yeah, no thanks. I think I'll take my measly little vote and combine it with millions of others so that the Koch Brothers (or other billionaires) don't control the agenda.

George Washington did it...and warned us all when he left what would happen if we followed political parties.

So instead of the Koch brothers forcing their agenda on everybody, you'll get with some people and try to force your agenda on everybody and this is known as "progress" ?

I try to remember when watching politicians talk that the ones who last tend to not lie. What they do is tell the truth but make it either sound like they are lying by using technicalities or answering a totally different question. I gave up trying to convince people of anything for a few years and stepped away from politics until 2017 when everything clicked in place about the Russian media campaign of disinformation.

I also try to not go as far as saying anyone has been 'screwed over' too by politicians. Mostly I think people try to do what they think is the right thing to do, but just have such a narrow understanding that they are ignorant to the ways people will be hurt and are slow to say they are wrong in order to fix anything because they would rather use it to run against it.

You mean 2018? There was some rampant Republican voter fraud and vote suppression. The Russian have been steadily attacking our electorate through online disinformation campaigns, now the Religious Chinese for Trump are jumping into the fray with crazy money, on and on. It is worrisome knowing that the Russians are fully invited by Trump to screw with us again, and has Mitch Mcconnell's full support too, but I think they are not going to be able to pull it off this time.

Too many people know their game this time around, the Democratic field is too large to pinpoint this years "Hillary Clinton" to attack with a massive years long disinformation campaign until much closer to November 2020, and they are too different. If they push to bring hate about old white guys to hurt Biden, Trump takes a hit and becomes vulnerable to Harris or Warren. If they go with their stand by racial/female hate campaign to hurt Harris, Biden wins.

If Biden loses the primary, A stronger candidate will dismantle Trump onstage. Biden might be the best bet for Trump, but worse for Mitch McConnell. It is nice having a huge field this year to combat the foreign trolling campaign as long as possible.
