So i put in the order for the Northern Lights seeds (hope they come in) but have some questions before I grow, how far should the seeds be apart when placing them in the soil after germination.
AND
After i leave the seeds in a moist towel/blanket or sponge do the roots slowly appear after like 24 hours and then i place them in the soil?

Seeds should each be in their own pots. No sharesies around here.

24-72 hours check them. You will have a taproot coming out of them (hopefully). Then you place then in soil.

Go to the GrowFAQs link at the top bro. It's all covered there.

Oh I thought i read in a grow guide that you put like 4-5 seeds together. Thanks.
ALSO sorry one more question,
Do you have to regrow or grow a new planet after taking the bud off the one plant? Idk if its in the growfaq

When germinating your seeds:
You'll want to put them in a cup of distilled or R/O water until they sink
to the bottom of the cup.
When they sink you'll know that you have a good embryo inside.
If they are still floating after 24-48 hours
then they are more than likely a bad seed.

After they have sunk to the bottom of the cup:
Put your seeds in between 2 moist paper towels,
I fold the paper towels in quarters.
Next you can either put the paper towels into a zip lock bag
or put them in between 2 saucers with seran wrap wrapped
around the saucers.
Then put the bag or saucer somewhere where it's warm, like on top
of a computer or a cable box.

Check your seeds everyday:
Once the seeds have cracked you can plant them into your medium.
I wait until the tap root has grown at least a half inch before planting
them into some type of medium.

Once you've planted them into a medium, keep them in a dark warm area
until you see a sprout.
Once you see a sprout, turn your lights on 18 hours/day, turn your ventilation on, and put a fan on them.

Hope this helps.

Okay I was thinking of keeping them in my insolated attic. Is that a good idea? Or like just in my closet.
My room is hotter than my other rooms for less vents but Ill just buy a fan then but I wait for the seed to come out of the soil before lighting it, I thought you turn the light on once you put them in the dirt

There's no point in turning on the light until they have sprouted. When your seeds haven't sprouted, the only thing they need is moisture and warmth.
The light is to create photosynthesis, if there are no leaves for the plant to create photosynthesis, then you don't need it.

Whats the best fluorescent lamp, is there a difference in color? My friends have said red, i found a cheap 27 watt lamp at Target but no color or anything.

lol grow a new planet.:eyesmoke:

and those cfl's you will need.. say 8 for one plant. look for 'cool white' and 'warm white' and buy 8 of each to interchange for both stages of growth, or mix and match. whatever floats your boat.

look for '2700k' for the red spectrum (flowering)
and 4100k for veg, blue spectrum.. it comes to lighting

and yea, red spectrum alone is preferable to blue. but it doesn't pay to skimp when it comes to lighting... so fork out for the lights buddy.

Okay, ill get red, my friends i believe said it radiates more heat to grow it. When i saw the list of lighting for growing and red was on top.
What is cfl when you said it for 8 a plant.

Oh yeah just realized i spelled planet instead of plant haha
