Is there a difference between a plant flowering and showing its sex? Or is the process the same? Im tryimg to get a time of when my outdoor started flowering.
Thanks i wasn't sure if mattered im trying to keep track tho so maybe i can start earlier next seasonOutdoors I would say there is a difference. I can normally sex my outdoor plants a week before they fill in with white hairs.
I culled the males and confirmed females first week of August. I am really not concerned with counting weeks, but I would say my flowering started a week after I confirmed sex.
Outdoor grows really don't apply the counting of weeks to get to harvest. Too many variables, and 12/12 doesn't apply. It's a gradual transition from sexting to the stretch phase to flowering to actual buds. What might take 8 weeks indoors might take 10 or more outdoors.
This is nowThis was end of August last year.

Be Patient. Nature takes it time.
Starting with clones of a mature plant helps speed up the flipThanks i wasn't sure if mattered im trying to keep track tho so maybe i can start earlier next season
I took one cutting of her ima try to veg till spring then move outsideStarting with clones of a mature plant helps speed up the flip
But with photo period plants starting early is futile unless you do the whole light depravation thing
make sure you harden the plant off during the transition outdoors..I took one cutting of her ima try to veg till spring then move outside
Explain more please?make sure you harden the plant off during the transition outdoors..
