A lot of fresh weed still tastes killer. My friends are always bugging me for weed before it's even dry. They still love it and say it's better than the dispensary weed.
I rarely cure anything. If you dry the plants nice and slow and grow them healthy they turn out dank and don't need to be fucked with and burped and waited on for months.
Hang dry 7-10 days on the stems, then 4-7 days off the stems in paper bags and when the buds are perfect to smoke they are perfect in general. Taste great, smell great, smoke great. That simple, jar them up for storage and you are done.
This is some real shit here folks...I rarely cure anything. If you dry the plants nice and slow and grow them healthy they turn out dank and don't need to be fucked with and burped and waited on for months.

I hang for 4-7 days ( not a super big crop)..
But once I put it in that brown paper (3-5 days) bag..pull it out sorta crispy... to the jar mainly for storage... I burp it... getting weed out... man I thought I was f’ing up... but it never comes to life til I put it in that brown paper bags...I ask everybody for brown paper bags... thanks Thundercat
To the folks that use paper bags: I assume you mean like the little brown paper lunch baggies? How much do put in the bags, like full or half or just a few nugs? Just curious, probably gonna try this x
@Thundercat, if your bud doesn't darken, does that mean you dried it too much?
Appreciate anyone's answers tbh
Depending on answers I'll post pics, I've got some stuff been curing or just jarred, for like 4 months
So the guy who is saying that his grass doesn't need a cure is the same one saying it's always gone as soon as it's dry? OK.
3 weeks dry? I might call that a cure. Regardless, very different then thread starter who seems to asking about a quick 5 day dryYep exactly right, people rave about my buds and they never last more than a month after they are finished being properly dried to perfection. Properly drying them takes 2-3 weeks though.
I have tried various drying methods in the last 14 years I've been growing. I have cured buds for a few months before, but they were never significantly better enough that it made any sense to hold onto buds just so they could cure. When people are begging me for more and raving about how good it is, and happily pay a premium I don't think I have a problem.
I'm not the only one either. Lots of growers grow great weed that is tasty and perfect once it's dried, without having to mess with hygrometers, or burping jars, or any other games for months.
You are all welcome to do what you want in your gardens though. I am just sharing what I and many other growers have found to be an excellent way to process our product.

Fair enough, I read you don’t cure then I read you dry for up to 3 weeks, just trying to understand.
