Can anybody tell me what's safe to spray during flower for insects? I have some Captain Jack's dead bug on hand I also have some neem oil and some stuff called trifecta which claims you can spray up until the day of harvest. I don't have a bug problem because I have been spraying this up until flower but if I need to spray something I want to be sure to be safe and not fuckmyshitup.

I always encourage people to only use something that targets pests and not beneficial insects.
We dont need to be killing any more bees that is for sure.
Also no one needs to be smoking poison. ;)

Trifecta I heard is good stuff! Glad you are using it

Yeah I totally agree! So you think that Trifecta is good as it claims about spraying up to harvest?

It should be... I dont use anything myself but we dont really have to many pests up here that does that much damage.
I love the idea of feeding silica often tho. Not only is it good for the plant but it builds up the cell walls of the leaves so much that It makes chewing on them more difficult for insects. I also buy lady bugs and release them in mid july... they stick around and even breed.

I've read a lot of good things about silica spray is it good to do during flower or is it more of a vegetative thing? I bought ladybugs last year for my plants and they just all went away like the next day so that was kind of a waste of money:cry:

I sprayed up to the first few weeks of flower but then I only did root drench.
Yeah over half of the bugs went away but the half that stayed were very happy. I made sure I misted the plants before I let them go so they had water

Alright cool thanks for the information! I did not mist my plants before I let them go so maybe that's why they left:wall:

Next season I will be growing some tamahawk by greenpoint which is a gg4 x stardawg along with some jelly pie so I really want to see how yours does
So far I'm so impressed with their genetics...I mean look at this jelly pie and its only 4 weeks into flower so I'm super excited to see how they do outdoors. I took many clones from my favorite phenos of the j.p but heard that the gg4 doesnt clone well so I will be popping them soon.

That's awesome she looks bomb! I will be sure to post updates so you can see how mine's coming along. I did get my gg4 from clone and you see how well it did so far! I still don't know how to do clones otherwise I would have done some this year, definitely something I want to keep around. I'm excited to see what you're going to do next year, pretty impressed from your last year!
