53726632-07D3-4CAE-B897-4B99BFEFB164.jpegSo here we are in the first week of seeding I’ve always grown from seed and have many completely awesome runs but never had this happen here is the run down half skywalker other half sour diesel planted in fox farm light warrior with a slight mist of root booster temp is a tad high low 80s 55 to 65% humidity using a kinde xl750 at 29” settings are 10% red 30% blue and 30% white. Spectrum I did give them 2 mil grow 2mil micro and 1mil bloom mixed in PHed water (I did this because I was thinking nitrogen Deficiency) but there is no nuit burn or any yellowing of the leaves I do how ever suspect an issue with lightning due to the long stems i did drop my light down to about 20” inches any thoughts or am I on the right path thanks

The leaves pointing up is normal, add an oscillating fan and absolutely stop feeding for the next week or two. Also, thanks for making me feel dyslexic.

you need more light the light u are using is agrade poo
 
So when did this site turn out to be just a bunch of trolls? There used to be people that were full of knowledge and willingness to help not any more I see
 
1. Since Kind lights are market hyped ..... canopy SHOULD have been 15”-18” above .
However a SIMPLE T5 Lamp ( or similar flouro ) over solos would have been better to START
the cups. Closer to plant and bluer spec to SHORTEN NODES and initial stretch.

2. The reason that they are “ stretching “ is because that germed seedling is still in what is referred to as the “ rooting stage “ ...... that long stem would have been initially BURIED and throw lateral roots .....but now is stretching to BE CLOSER to light. ........... SEE #1

3. SEEDLINGS NEED NO NUTES. The colydon leaves “ feed “ the seedling.

4. FFLW soil is a great starter soil on just water ( lightly since it’s very young j.

5. Begin transplant of these long necked ladies ....burying this solo plug of soil deep enough to fully cover the stretch. Plant entire cup dirt as a plug.

6. The Kind DOES NOT AND WILL NOT have enough blue spec to ensure full veg potential.
More red or near red spec PROMOTES STRETCH.

7. Get a better light.
 
Sounds good you might want to make something to hold them up. I bend that green twist tie plant wire to make a brace for them. Pipe cleaners work too. Keep a light breeze on them to strengthen them up.
 
Educated response about what? They're stretching a little, reaching for light. I think you're just showing off no real problem there. Next post

Praying leaves used to be considered a sign of a healthy plant, though some theories today suggest its down to too much light, the leaves angle themselves to minimise surface area, though obviously they don't change surface area it does allow less photons to hit the leaf.
It makes sense, but could be bollox.

With light stress I note that the leaves angle down and the petiole is stiff not droopy and it's intentionally angling the leaf down away from the light. I think when they angle up they are happy.
