Overwatering? led light stress? Udnerwatering?

Ughhhh so when I moved them from my small tent into big tent they were 24" under cree cob LEDS
And looked like this.
I was giving them 1 litre of water every 3 days each 20190724_170318.jpg

Moved em into the big tent and every 3rd day I was giving them 2 litres of water to try and soak the whole medium.
Then they started to drop and look wilted like they were overwatered.

But I also had leds too close i think they were at 18" so i backed off all lights to 24" again and didnt water for 4 days to let them dry out but they still looked droopy.

IM NOT SURE IT IS UNDER OR OVERWATERING THO? because look at the plant under the METAL HALIDE. it looks fine only the 3 plants under the led lights look stressed.

Its hard to judge since I give them all the same amount of water. And dont feed them any nutes its organic soil. It's all the same strain



The only difference is the lights.
I gave them each 1 litre of water today to see if they perk up at the end of the day.

There is new growth on the led plants. And their still branching out.
But the leaves are super droopy and curling down not up which would indicate overwatering no?
But then the MH plant isnt doing thst so I couldnt be overwatering?

I Was just curious as to anyone's input. I'm a little confused

Same issue I’m running into. One plant is flourishing and one is curling down, my assumption was maybe overwatering but I give both basically the same amount. Either way I’m gonna stop watering both and let dry out to see if it helps. No nutes for me I’m autoflowering, only organic soil

They tent never goes above 29.5c it usually sits around 25-27c depending on ambient temp outside.


-I gave them each 1 litre yesterday instead of 2
-Moved the lights up to 24"
-hooked up my environment controller to the fans so they'll turn off at night now
(had them running 24/7 before even on lights off but the tents temperature was going down to 17celcius which may of been too big a shock between day and nighttime temps)

Trying to get every little thing dialed.in to help them recover and the colour definately changed to more dark green. Their still droopy but looking a bit better

I have a feeling It was a combination of every thing i posted. Maybe just bunch of small negatives thats all added up to make a big negative

I definately got greedy with the leds. Wanted them to perform as good as the metal halide so I put them closer go the plant. Starting to learn cutting corners is a bad idea.

They all share the exact same amount of water and environment.
So it must of been a bit of light burn and heat stress maybe from the leds.
Even the ones under leds hasnt stopped growing. Still stretching out and producing new leaves.
Will keep babying them for a bit

A 300w led, it was a cheaper brand but It’s not too bad. I’ve read many autoflower growers give it a full 24hrs of light so that’s what I’ve been doing and it seemed to work well. I’m only about 2 weeks after sprout

With LED you want 80+ f
Raise them off the floor so they can drain properly and water until a bit of run off and then water when they feel light.

The MH will give higher leaf temp and higher transpiration. The LED wont which is why it wants to be 80+ to increase transpiration.
Between that and a bit of light stress you've got an overwatered stressed plant that cant drain well and isn't getting enough water when it does get watered.
Cloth pots air prune, but on the tent floor they don't get air underneath.

And yeah the cold night temps wont help but I wouldn't have my fans off all night. Put them on a timer to run 15min of the hour or something.

I have mine in a cabinet, I looked for cloth pots but couldn’t find any locally so I used ceramic. How would you recommend heating it up a little bit in there? The temp is around 75f the led doesn’t put off much heat, and It would be a real pain rigging up a timed switch to the fans I have they don’t blow very hard anyway.

move plant to a different area of the room then.

Im not sure what you could do other than slow the fans down with a variac , add a small heater and/or insulate.

Look like its outside?
How big is the space and what exact LED are you using?
