3D496105-62D5-4784-BFEC-9471B28D260D.jpeg My plant seems to be moving alone faster than I thought.. @ day 51? I’m f flowering it has an abundance of cloudy trichomes...would it be normal to see so many cloudy trichomes at this point...

Does cloudy mean happy smoke...9 weeks time n 12-13 days... the plant seems to be devouring itself...

At this point I plan to reduce the lighting to add more density is this a bad idea.. also to reduce temps.. this plant was flowered just for smoke.. thoughts please

Reduce lighting for more
Reduce lighting for more density? What?
I’m trying to protect from further heat in the ending of this grow... maybe not density but I don’t wanna lose any smell or sticky ness...so keep it on fill til.. my temps are a bit warm for my light... this 315 is getting warmer with hotter summer days...I’m thinking go back to my blurples... not as much heat... or should I be thinking swell them up... this heat is getting to me...81 with blurples... 88-90 with 315... heat will kill the density... as well as terps..scent... so I thought..

My Acapulco Gold smokes good... but I felt like I lost terps with the heat and the way I pushed it...

I understand that this plant has a ways to go.. I can tell the hairs haven’t receded and full turned..but I’m wondering why my leaves look like they have been burned... or is the plant sucking them dry near end...regardless I’m not chopping til 63+ days

What do the trichs look like? I know a lot of people say that that's only one indicator of whether it's ready to harvest, but so are the pistils. The trichomes tell you what kind of smoke it will be, so if that's the kind of smoke you like then that should be your criteria. I always chop as soon as I see amber trichs. I hate the way CBN makes me feel, so I chop to make sure I have as little of it as possible. There are guys on here who think I chop a week or two early, but if I followed their advice I wouldn't enjoy the end product nearly as much. If the product is for you chop to your preferences.

I hate CBN as well... and that is totally what I’m trying to avoid......I hate to see amber... I don’t want to fall asleep... I want the happy buzz... my trichomes are cloudy... my hairs are receding fast... I will continue to check... but it’s about ready.. leaves are given in... my other plants in flower don’t resemble this...I don’t want any AMBER...

They looked burned as that’s a potassium deficiency. Either by not enough in the soil or lock out.

Are you still feeding or?
I would agree with this - looks like burn, or uptake issues, but then again I get this all the time too ha ha... Also I've found this late in the game if the plants get too dry at any point this can happen in an instant...

As for the trich thing - IDK, maybe I'm crazy, but even if you harvested now, a lot of those cloudy trichs will turn amber during the dry/curing... Go ahead and chop if you think you'll like the smoke - or chop a nug and let it dry overnight and give it a try! I mostly don't worry about cloudy vs amber, I just look for all the clear ones to get cloudy...

To be honest.. that’s the same thing I was thinking...my last feeding was 0-3-2 bloom fertilizer (Alaska)... it started that way before... so I gave it that about 2 days ago... I took a soil sample and it showed ho nitrogen... low p & k.. at least that’s what 1 estimated..also the ph seemed 6.6 - neutral.... I think all this was set off by trying during extreme heat...needed some smoke tho... I got a clone or 2 next run should be better..hopefully CB40A74F-CEE0-4EF2-B579-95DAB74073E9.jpeg

I’m scared off overwatering them... because of heat... but I do soak the pot a bit...I will stab her to check the moisture in soil

I’m gonna check again (trichomes)... make sure I’m not trippin...when lights come on will chop a bud 2 tho...my clear never turns cloudy.. or am I missing it during curing...man sometimes it gets gone before a damn super cure sets in..I can’t help that..
