So maybe Dylan Roof is innocent, and doesn't deserve the death penalty. Possibly we may find out in a few years he is innocent, and let him out of jail. Or maybe Trump will pardon him, because Trump is Hitler as we all know. Is this what you support @UncleBuck ?

And for the record, I'm against the death penalty; if they're innocent, and far too many are, then you can't undo it. If they're guilty, then putting them down early is too good for them.

ok, so you are against killing Dylan Roof, even though he shot up a Black Church and killed many innocent victims? Do you dispute that he commit the crimes at all, or agree that there is no question that he commit the crime?
Your reason for opposing killing him, is because he will become a martyr, however you still believe he should get life in prison. So it still isn't clear to me how somehow giving him the death penalty will make him a martyr, but arresting him and putting him in jail for life will not? I do not understand the reasoning or logic behind that.
