Whats up guys

So I had a few questions regarding building a hoop house for light dep and cover from the rain.

So i’ve alrwdy got them going, and have a place they will be. So i’ll be building the hoop house over the plants.

The space is about 20 Feet wide and 23 feet long.

I’ve read multiple projects and threads on people building ones.

just wanted to clear some things up.

So how long would my 1inch pvc need to be to make the hoops?

I see they only sell them in 20 foot sections. that would not be long enough to make an arch over my plants. How do you extend that so that it still bends ?

Going to get 2x4s the length of the floors and then connect the pvc to the 2x4s every 2? feet or so. Using carriage bolts ? or this brace that goes around the pvc and has two holes to drill into the wood on either side of the pvc.

Then add my top material and all good.

I can make a door and stuff later but for now to get them going in flowering..

Main question is about the PVc and how to bend two pieces, or connect two

yes do not use white pvc,use the gray plastic pipe 1 in bends fine, run wood strapping along the ridge to hold the ribs together an staple the poly down
