Too many innocent people have been executed. Let the lovers remember Jesus of Nazareth. Besides, life in prison is satisfaction enough. Just think of it.
Idk, Topcat. There are lifers who are use to and are not missing out on anything in society. You be surprised what you can get use to not having. Once those guys let go and stop clinging to the outside, suffering is no longer a factor in the time they have to do. It is us who imagine they are suffering because we haven’t had to go through lifetime confinement.

So, we are under "Roman law"?
You are governed by the laws of the day and place in which you live.

Edit: Have we not evolved since the beginning? As Herod said, "kill them all", of the innocents?
There are a few things I remember from reading the "bible".
Even God orders everyone to die. He's done it on a half dozen occasions.

You can't pick and choose your Bible verses. You take them all, or you take none of them.

Let a psycho kill your whole family and then your tax dollars feed and house him for the rest of his life? Naaa kill em. Thats morals
I'd rather put it in a box, without anything, like absolutely nothing for the remainder of it's life.
If I had the personal opportunity to kill it, I would.
But State sanctioned murder is another matter.

They are then segregated from and isolated from society.

Naw, you glean from it what you will. It was written by many men and put together by other men, over about 1,700 years. Lot's of other written tribes were left out. Wonder why?

That's true.

But you are using only those verses that suit your argument.

Capital punishment is far older than the Bible. Even God has ordered the deaths of innocents time and time again.

So to use any verse of the Bible to present a case of capital punishment being wrong is outright fraud.

Fker better not be watching cable tv. Ive heard rumors but im sure state by state has their own arrangements.
Death penalty is more expensive but don’t let facts get in the way of your desperate plea to emotion
It varies by state..what costs millions supposedly is the right to appeal. Ya know..even if you got caught with a bomb in your baxkpack and you have 20 dead bodies around you. ( im not saying thats how the boston bombing went but , an example of hard evidence should not get a retrial or waste tax money)

The bible is full of deception, written by those who think they know more. I don't use it to present a case for capital punishment, just the opposite. "You are gods". What is god?

Because they are still alive if exculpatory or exonerating evidence is discovered you dumb bitch
Dumbass. Because plenty of innocent people have been executed. There's not a lot you can do about that after you kill them.

Also, I am not in favor of life in prison for the innocent, rat-child.

Some reoffend outside because they just don’t know what to do. They don’t feel it’s where they belong. It’s not surprising to see faces you know come in on the chain. Then it’s like a reunion. Break out the hot pot and the commissary goods.
