Do outside plants stretch in flower?

Persistence and pot got 'er done :bigjoint:

The hole is twice as deep as the pot, and the circumference is 4" wider.

Nice looking hole. A kiddie pool makes a good low budget pot. The size I use is 45-50 gallons, and if you can catch them at the end of summer, sometimes I can pick them up for 5 bucks. I till the soil under the pool, then cut a hole in the bottom where the plant goes.

Yep, got a couple bags of organic potting soil, and GH Floro Trio. I've also got dedicated drip emitters on one of my sprinkler timers. Just have to hook it up Trying to hand water that was a pain LOL!
Haha I feel you. Atm I'm having to hand water like 30 clones and like 50+ seedlings lol. Maybe next year I'll setup a drip system . Couple years ago I would just fill 5 gallon water jugs or 5 gallon buckets that had a small hole drilled out the bottom. Worked pretty good.

Got her in the ground. Took 7cu ft of soil to fill the hole. I'll start on the cage next. Some of my branches are a little weak. Not sure if this is because I grew her so big inside. Should I support those with the cage, or will they strengthen over time?

She's Feeling Minnesota...some of you will get the reference

She's been drooping since I put her in the ground. I really don't think I've been overwatering it. I'm also seeing what looks like a lot of burning. I haven't started giving her nutrients yet, as the soil should have enough for a little while.

For the most part, I'm using organic potting soil. But, I accidentally got a couple bags of organic garden soil, which I was thinking would be very similar to the top soil.

Should I just keep watering it with plain water, until she recovers?

Personally if this was my plant I would get in there and remove all the dead looking leaves. I would also probably take off the absolute lowest branches that are in danger of getting mud splashed when it rains. I would expect a good pruning to help stimulate more root growth, and direct existing energy upwards to the top of the plant.

Getting some support strings in through the middle of the plant would help it to I think. Right now it is trying real hard to hold up all those branches that used to be tied closer together with your last supports.

Do they stretch? Oh, yeah! I have an afghani no. 1 that is in 2d week of flower that is 3 feet tall.
A Cherry Bomb the same size.

Couple of things about growing outdoors, no high electric bill, much better tasting product, and it isn't possible to put more light on them. It will make you feel sorry for indoor growers.

It looks a little shocked from the transplant.. a strong plant like that will bounce right back... i agree with Thundercat's approach to clean up the bottom .. also remember now that it's in the ground it won't need anywhere near as much water as it did in the pot.

Cool! I cleaned up the bottom branches and trimmed away the damaged leaves. I'll watch my watering.

Quick question, when it's time to start providing nutes again, do I just mix a gallon between plain waterings, or something like that?
