Boveda Technology for Humid Months ...

Hey friends!

A few weeks ago I was able to visit a large outdoor Cannabis market where bottles of beautiful bud
sat in the sun fogging up the glass.

Luckily, I had a jar of Boveda 58% RH in the car & handed a few out.

Boveda is known to rehydrate Cannabis flowers but the osmosis technology is two-way & can
help during these humid months to absorb excess moisture caused by bud 'sweating'. As
we're all aware, any excess moisture could allow for mold growth.

Here to help if anyone has questions!

Salt + Water + Food Grade Thickener ... natural for natural.

When you smell your bud, you're smelling off-gassing or evaporation. Each bud only has so many sniffs so to speak before the smell is gone. What you smell is the compounds oxidizing. When humidity is regulated inside the jar, the off-gassing stops.

Grind the bud up and the smell is there having been kept safe from evaporation.

Just bought the 55% integras, we’ll see how they are. Planning on putting 1, 8g pack per 20g in a pint mason. After reading x amount of threads, most say the 62% is slightly on the wet side. I’ll update around thanksgiving if I remember.

I leave jars closed for weeks and it always smells the same if not stronger than day one

How is a brovida pack making your jar more air tight? Just throw away the single use canning lid (with the nasty gasketmaker smell) and use a real lid to maintain moisture.

Folks. If your bud had problems like these guys, like so shit it turns to dust or starts forming storm clouds inside a jar, just grow better buds next time, and dry it properly. You gotta get the fat and vitamins back in your bud! All modern low brix growing methods have done is strip all the dankness out for a higher thc %.

We've watched all the good strains disappear from the publics perception as FA derivatives drop in favor of a relatively elevated thc % and can't understand why no one sees the issue every hydro store victim has with curing is 100% related to the replacement of these beneficial FA derivatives such as thiols, new fatty acids, aldehyde, lactones, etc with useless commercially available fruit scrap industry terpenes.

The entire "entourage effect" is intentionally misattributed to terpenes exclusively, for financial purposes. In other words people are being led into growing shitty pot by being led into ignoring the Golden Rule: YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT. Plastic bottles grow plastic weed. Sticky icky doesn't go to shit in a jar.

I never have any weed long enough to test that but I have a buddy that swears it kills aroma. I prefer my weed fresh and very dry. Lots of ppl have had that issue with boveda and reported it.

Yes boveda is known to reduce your smell. Integra boost packs are the new way to go.
what is the difference? I think Boveda's patent expired so now there are knockoffs. AFAIK are all just plastic bags filled with salt water and gelling agent.
