small, colorless worm sticking leaves together on top of plant

I have ONE plant that has several tops that where the leaves are stuck together. this morning, I finally found a very small brownish/tannish 1/2 inch worm with a black head crawling out from it *my camera won't take a sharp enough photo of something that small to tell what it is....**. The leaves don't look eaten, and there's the beginning of a bud in the middle of the one I found it in. I doesn't look like any of the ones I've looked up (bud worms, etc), so if anyone has any idea, I sure would appreciate it. Sorry about no photo.

Just guessing from the description, sawfly larva perhaps?

Are these outside ? Sounds like bud worm. They’re over 1200 different species of caterpillars it doesn’t have to look the same as a google search to be bud worm. As the person above me stated get rid of whatever u believe it munched on. Their saliva instantly causes bud rot. U don’t want that spreading to the healthy parts.

They only eat leaves during veg (before buds) when they aren’t yet strong enough to eat stems. But buds are easier to eat then leaves so they going for the good stuff instead.

Yes, they're outside. I looked up budworms, and they didn't look like any of them, but How toyou get rid of them?

Kinda translucent, tan or greenish, with tiny brown or black heads. Google has images.

Not very long into flowering,for some reason. What is a BT spray? Help my poor brain, please

It's a bacteria, b. thuringensis I think (I probably spelled that wrong). It kills caterpillars. It only lasts for about 10 days at a time, so you have to spray repeatedly through flower to keep budworms away. It's harmless to humans, and is used in organic farming, if you're worried about that.

Yes jim is right on! Some brands I have used are safers btk and Monterey... depends we’re your located though as long as it’s a BT spray sage for fruits younshoukd be okay.

If I were you I’d do it as soon as possible, when dealing with a spray it’s always better to get it over with early on in flower so the moisture doesn’t screw the buds up.
