So the deal is I wanted to have 14 in 3 gallon under a 1000w but there's still room in the tent so I'm going to add a 400 w and put them in 5 gallon pots is that better for my yields my clones are about 18 inches tall ready for the flip just wanted to know what would be better the 14 under 1000w in 3 gallon or 14 under 1400w in 5 gallon

Larger root space is always preferable IF you have enough space to contain them. But if you're working with highly contraining space, particularly vertically challenging space, you may be safer to go with smaller pots. That is great for a first timer though, Amuck!

Those look like very healthy and happy plants, I think you've certainly got a nice yield coming your way! You may consider tieing some of those branches down sideways so that those popcorn budsites can get nice, direct light and become big ol' nuggets all on their own. :) As for an estimated yield, I really couldn't give ya a good answer man. I mean, I can't imagine you walking away with anything less than 10(ish) ounces off of that many plants. But I'm sure you're capable of pulling more than that! As long as the temps don't get too high, 1400w of light should be more than enough to give you some massively dense colas. Looking good, hope to see update pics later on Amuck.

Another thing you think the 400 mh spectrum would affect anything
