I'm in coco coir with RO water so the seedlings need something besides water very early. Just cal-mag for the first few days then nutrients at 1/4 to 1/2 strength for a couple of weeks.

I would but mines saltwater ,

Nothing. Just water. I like to start in peat pellets, they go into a solo cup with a mix of seed starter mix n dirt a couple days after they have their first set of leaves. The dirt gives them enough food to last until transplanted to their next and final pot.
