lol only 1 of my seeds had a root that long pop out...as soon as i see than tiny white root its off to the soil! lol i think the reason mine are taking so long is that the paper towel dries out a lot...i only check the grow once a day...so i figure if i kept the paper towel from drying out i would have had quicker germination...

I put them in the paper towel and then put that in a zip lock bag and the towel stays moist....don't say wet....

Letting the paper towel dry out no bueno becuase the rootlets get stuck to the towel and and movment could damage them. As far as the mylar goes get some double sided foam tape from lowe's its about 6$ for a 50 ft makes it easy to put up and smooth. Just out line where its going andpull it tight as you smooth with your hand hope that helps some

yea i had one root stick to the paper towel...i hope it didnt get hurt too bad...but all the other ones were ok...i tried to get them into soil right after the little root came out...thanks for the advice tho!
i didnt have any seeds to put in soil today...1 more that should be ready tomorrow tho...im gonna give the last juicy fruit another couple days...but if it doesnt pop by thursday then i think i'll give up...its been almost a week and a half...none have come up thru the soil yet...man...the suspense!!! how do u all do it?!! haha

i usually let them ride the towel till slight green shows then put into soil. Its suspense full dont worry soon you'll be sitting in your grow room just stareing at your babies. Also the 12/12 from seed im curous about the results. My last grow i put down 10 seeds got 7 males :cry:

well...so far i've got 10 out of 12 planted and one more should be ready tomorrow...i think one seed is a lost cause...but im almost positive i have a couple girls...theres just a difference to the way the seeds pop...i dont know how to explain it...but im hoping for at least 4 or 5 girls...*crossin my fingers*

i would veg for at least a week or two... or your not going to get nearly anything for yield..id say if you were in my neck of the woods i would fill your space up with female clones... and give you a reflector or 2 that im not even using... good luck

Care to explain how to tell if its female when the seeds pop ? Would be cool to know :mrgreen:bongsmilie:peace:
