I would get a couple feeding in before I start BK foliar , and make sure your slurries can support it .... then start with .5 ml BK per QT and work your way up .....and remember the 6:1 ratio ....

Good morning NFTG fam! My 1 girl (cherry pebbles) is still giving me some issues. I'm not sure what I need to do. Here's a couple pics from this morning. I just gave them all a EZ TEA BLOOM feeding last night with some microbe life Photo-P and Nourish from a sample kit I got at my local hydro store.
Is this cal/mag? I upped my DD to 15ML/gal the last 2 feedings and using Epsom salt at 5ML/gal.
Tuesday night I added in 5ML BK to my 2 gallons of water/feed.....not sure that matters but putting it out there.

This is my girl from a week or so ago that started having issues after not being watered/fed for like 72 hours.....peace out!

I think your just experiencing the results of the 72 hours. It may have burned the root hairs. If your upping Demeters then don't put in the epsom. It looks like maybe magnesium is blocking calcium and potassium. Need to get your rootzone in check, then start bringing the feeds back up. Slurry?

Demeters all by itself is CAL Mag!! And Medusa is 3% calcium .5% magnesium. Epsom can be your best friend or your worst enemy. I usually only use one application if I need quick mag, then I up demeters. Steady putting the salt in the rootzone can hinder calcium uptake and block potassium. If you tie these symptoms to a rootzone that's out of nectars range, you can see how problems can compound. The tea was a good choice as I think anymore feeds would just make it worse. Epsom washes out of the rootzone fast should be able to bounce back....HERC & oly!! Just need slurries to know exactly how to correct.

Thanks guys, I will get slurry results tonight. Man I didn't mean to let em go so long, but had a couple 16-18hr days at work back to back and just didnt have time to water/feed. Planning on changing things up on the next run and trying to get a bucket company setup and some flora caps. Working full time and 2 young kids makes time hard to come by at times lol!

I hear that, me and bubba both have some girls we let veg too long so gonna be a fight against the stretch all cause we are either too busy or just lazy b/c we are so busy!! You can put one shot and some organic matter(worm castings) in your soil mix and use a little larger pot to have more of a buffer next time, will hold a little more moisture longer and not run of food when watering every 3 days or so.....just a thought, it's all part of dialing in to your environment and life style.

When I get too busy to do a regular feed I pull a trick from Scotts playbook and just hit them with some Herc water to keep the pots wet, microbes alive and plants happy. Doesn't take long to mix and its not a full volume watering.......just keeping things moving till theres time to give to the garden.

Now to my busy/laziness, I'm dealing with the monsters like I mentioned but I also havnt laid down my normal top dress that I like to do. By the end of the weekend I plan to be back in the saddle and caught up!! I'm pleased with everything but I can't keep them fed enough, no deficiencies, just healthy eaters!! My top dress should help maintain their metabolism and trick the roots into thinking they have more room to grow.

Top dress recipe for 12/12 flip:
- blend fresh #4 w/ homemade earthworm castings 50/50
- 1 tsp Be-1 pellets per gallon of soil ( can use one shot, or EZ tea bloom, Roots organic dry blends or Dr. Earth bio-live, etc)
- 1 tsp frass per gallon of soil
- 1 tsp crab shell per gallon of soil
- biochar ...... Earthshine
- 1 Tbs crushed malted barley per gallon of soil
IF I NEED MORE OF A BOOST, OR FIGHTING PH, ETC...I might add one of these :
- 1 tsp alfalfa meal per gallon of soil = N boost, assists flower set, microbes love it!
- 1 tsp Fishbone meal per gallon of soil = P boost, calcium, aminos ( if top dressing EZ tea bloom this a great addition to fill the P gap)
- 1 tsp Oyster shell flour per gallon of soil = HELPS RAISE PH OVER TIME, calcium (gypsum flour good too)
I finish off the top dress mix with a sprinkle of Bokashi, peppered all around the soil surface, then cover with straw as mulch to keep the TopD from drying out. Then water it in with Herc or Gaia depending on slurry #s. Landscape fabrics can replace the straw. This really curbs any bone gum build up because all the biology goes nuts in the maintained moisture, and really helps to get feeds to penetrate the entire rootball.

Idk what the fuck this PBB think its up to.... but i like it. All other 12 are hardly even branching and this one is on crack!!! Please to the almighty chron god be the keeper. Its a fat little bush pig. Ive heard the pbb is super fire but low yeilding this thing here could be the one fellas!! Right from a seedling this thing sprouted with 3 leaves. It split to like 4 diff plants with fat main stalks never seen anything like it. Fingers crossed.

Ok so the slurry on this girl is identical to the previous results for Cherry Pebbles 6.63PH and EC500 PPM 280 so about 400-420 PPM on the 700 scale.

Thats as good as it gets, drop that epsom salt in your feeds and get a couple feeds with SLF to some runoff before you put BK back in the mix. Just a precaution to wash that epsom out some and allow more calcium back in.

- new England sour diesel 5.95 PH 500 PPM
- sour raspberry kush 6.15 PH 500 PPM
- mystery auto 6.65 PH 420 PPM
- Hubba Bubba skunk 6.48 PH 320 PPM
- cherry Pebbles (my problem child) 6.6 PH 400 PPM
How should I proceed with the 3 low PH girls?

HERC & Oly to 7.0 ph and just saturate the media...no run off. If you have any Hades down you can drop your starting water even lower than the Herc will do so you can get more Oly up in the mix. You want to use a little less volume so the Herc and Oly park in the middle of the root zone and the pots will dry out faster so you can follow up with a 6.8 - 7.0 EZ tea with 30 ml Herc watered in the same way. Should be able to feed regular in the mid 6's after this but stick to the basic 4 bottles plus Herc in the 600 - 700 ppm range to start building back their metabolism.
