2700k is straight flowering #s
you want 5000k or higher for vegging plants. mine are 6500k and so are my t5 bulbs.
2700k will still grow a plant, but it will prob be a little stretchy with all that red....you want the other end of the spectrum...the COOL WHITE side....5000k+
Yes they would work for seedlings.
Higher the kelvin the more blue, vegging plants love blue light apparently . So we want high kelvin numbers when veg, lower k in flower
3000k is a good flowering spectrum
5000k + is good for veg
3500 and 4100k have been proven to be good all around, start to finish spectrums.
