HEy,

my plants are about 6 - 8 weeks old. they were started outside and are currently outside.
they're still vegging. i was curious what was the best time during the plants lifecycle to remove the lower fan leaves and smaller branches that will produce popcorn nuggets. the plants are about 1ft6in to 2ft.

thanks

Outside, you can just remove the fans that turn yellow or defective. If you're trying for a certain number of colas, then trim or top early is best for training.

I take them whenever I see them. No sense wasting growth, even vegetative growth, on shit that's not gonna produce in my opinion.

Ya pluck a few every few days or so. Don't do them all in one day and you can start whenever you want.

Why not just harvest in batches...??? Just curious
hey, ya i wish i could but the weather turns bad and moist in early october so i only have one harvest before issues develop with the plant

alright ye i think I'm just going to let them grow out naturally this year cause i pinched the tops last year and they produced too many colas that the plant couldn't even hold itself up

ye i'll start pruning soon, cause im alright starting to see pre-flower signs on some of the plants right now

ok that sounds like it'll cause the least shock to the plants i think ill try and do it deep into flowering too cause the foliage gets way too fluffy for any airflow to get around the colas
