I don't like the very pistillate flowers, they just look weird. I guess there is nothing wrong with it per se, unless it combines with the other trait of having really long pistils too.

That's cool do you have example of what you mean I think the majority of strains I run have big swollen pistilate when done so just curious what you mean structure wise do you have example. Not mad or offended at all genuinely curious what you like?

Critical kush from Barneys. It seriously is my favorite smoke I've had yet and I've been smoking on it every day for over a year and still choose it from my stash like 90 percent the time and I have some other really nice stuff to choose from it's just that this buzz does what I need it to and that's hard to find for me.

There are MANY things out there that make that a second tier strain. Besides, their bean quality from drop to drop, varies a lot.....Can you say AK-47?
Like so many say that they like Barney's Blue Cheese...FAH!
Buddha's is way better......Run this strain long and step harvest. Those second harvest buds will knock you out...

Hmm I like the pictures you posted they look great. I grow this particular strain because it works good for my issues. I'm not sure why all the buds I grow are fatter like they are. I got some newer strains going into flower now, modified mints from sin City and 97 blue moonshine x purple northern lights from big worm. I've ran them both once already tho and still got the bigger more cola looking bud style than what you posted. Modified mints might be my new favorite it is the only other strain I've run that helps me as much as critical kush.
But anyways I'm not complaining about it I think it's prob easier to pull weight anyways, just kinda curious what makes the difference, is it my grow style or the genetics. Maybe more sativa dominant have diff kinda buds cause come to think of it I had a ak 47x bubble gum that did have diff structure (think it was called wembly) and the buds grew more pyramid shaped. Was really nice strain as far as looks and smoke was good too but didn't have much smell at all and was not medicinal for me, see some shit gets me high af but still doesn't calm down my nerves and anxiety the way I need them too.

I would also go with Bubbas gift, fast flowering short stature indica absolutely love it. It smells just like grape soda/jolly rancher. However the best bud appeal Ive ever grown was from a red poison by sweet seeds. Potent and pretty.

Mimosa from Symbiotic. (Purple Punch x Clementine) The purple pheno is about the only one I grew out but it was a cutting that my grandson got for me. There is a thread on those genetics if you find this strain desirable. It's my go to Indica, very pleasant buzz. 8 weeks they're usually done. Easy to grow and just a pretty plant. Pix in the symbiotic thread.

You just have to search for the "keeper" in a bunch of packs, Barney's CK was my main strain for over 5 years and I never got sick of it, never heard one single complaint, in fact I regret moving on from it. The one I had smelled just like a 2 part epoxy when being trimmed. I know EXACTLY what you're saying bout the buzz, it was perfect. I always had people on the chair lifts that I shared it with ask me what it is and comment on how balanced and smooth the flavor is. After a good cure it turned very sweet smelling and yielded a large amount of well structured buds, even from below. I've been kicking myself in the ass about once a month since I let that one go and that was in 2015. Fuck.
