You might wish it were that simple, but this problem has been growing worse under both Republican and Democratic presidents for two generations now.

HUD's most recent figure for the total number of homeless in America is estimated about 554,000, a figure widely regarded to be low by as much as half of the actual number.

By comparison, the total population of Wyoming, America's least populous state, is estimated to be about 568,000- a much more accurate estimate.

The State of Homeless America today is roughly as big as our smallest state.

It's time to hold everyone in office accountable for this, no matter what political tribe they affiliate with.

Wanna bet those City Council members are Democrats?

The point I've been hammering away at is that both parties are complicit. It's the system that's broken; just voting for one corrupt party vs another hasn't worked, isn't working AND WON'T WORK IN THE FUTURE.
 
My hometown had about 1000 homeless, the Fed money that was given to the city was 15 million nearly every year. A good portion of it was somehow stolen by the police commissioner, a Republican. The mayor was also a Republican. Some senators and others were involved in the scam where millions were stolen. We need leadership that gives a fuck

So 15 million for 1000 people..... No wonder people opt out of work, being homeless could potentially pay out 150k a year

That's exactly what I realized after I accidentally stumbled into the Politics section. You guys just go from site to site to push your political beliefs. It's sad. This is a CANNABIS forum.

Objectively, every democratic candidate might not do every thing I want. The greatest obstacles to those things are Republicans, who it seems the only thing they're good at is fucking up the country and stonewalling progress. Fuck fox news, fuck republicans, fuck every rat sonofabitch that votes for them too. I will vote to remove Republicans every chance I get. Vote them out. Our country can not afford them, our children can't afford them.
