How long has it been flowering? Looks like it could use a couple more weeks. I bought a digital microscope to make it easier for me. It's nice cause you can take really good pics of the trichs and post em and ask for advice about when to harvest. You will get a lot of different opinions though about when they're ready.

Calyx look swollen. I'd pull now, she looks yummy

Padawan is right about getting mixed opinions, and that is because it comes down to preference. I’d say a middle of the road harvest would be some amber some cloudy. Maybe not a 50/50 but I’d at least wait to see some of the trichs amber.
Also, now would be the time to be doing your flush work if you haven’t already begun.
Getting close now

Ya my wife likes it picked earlier and I like it later, but she doesn't like it too strong. I actually harvested a Sunset Sherbert at day 27 and she loves it, and told me she wants it done that way next time too, maybe another week, she doesn't really know but she's really happy with it. I haven't tried it too much since I know it's a little under ripe for me, so it's good to experiment and find out what you like. It's all about preference is the best way to put it like GreenThumbMcgee said.

Looks done to me. As to the earthy smell, I never grew blue dream but I do know that most strains get a more complex terpene profile when they are ripe.
