Must be nice. I was looking forward to our 2 days in the 80s and the few in 90s. Guess that changed.Quite the shock coming up. 63 to 92View attachment 4345555 in 3 days.

They say back down to the 90s after the heat wave. Im not gonna hold my breath. Last year we broke our record of consecutive triple digit days at 30. The previous was 22 days, set in 2005.
I sink my cups like that too. For water retention as well as stealth.10:59am ,90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Had to bury my seedling cups, also threw worms in the cups to aerate the soil a bit.. Started showing sigs of heat stress/root rot midday yesterday. Gonna be hotter today. Hopefully they can tough out this 3 day heat wave.View attachment 4345485
The cups were burning hot to the touch before. The babies seem to be making a slow comeback being sunken like that. Gonna have my buddy bring me some clones from in town as backup.I sink my cups like that too. For water retention as well as stealth.
No air for me either. One of these years I shall get a mini split or something but until then I take the heat as it comes. It hit 85 here in NoCo and then back to the low 60s overnight. Slow warming trend, occasional rain forecast but definitely no triple digit bullshit.
I have a house without central air and it's been fine except for maybe a few weeks in July. We'll see how long that lasts...
We never had AC when I was a kid here in NW Florida. It is a cinderblock house, and stayed pretty cool with the windows open and the fans going. But then we did go to the creek during the hot part of the day almost every single day in summer. No air for me either. One of these years I shall get a mini split or something but until then I take the heat as it comes.
I had seen on the news that you guys had a rough week ahead. Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water too.
