Square black 20L buckets

Hi everyone,

A quick question to all.. is there a demand for square 20L Black buckets in the UK.. I have trawled the net everywhere and can’t seem to find anyone selling them here, I’ve searched eBay, amazon and the net.. nothing!!!

I have my own custom built recirculating DWC system but the pipes constantly get clogged with roots, I want to upgrade to 3inch pipe but I know it will leak using round buckets..

So I am toying with the idea of importing a large amount of square buckets from China, keeping the amount I need and then selling off the remainder.

Is this something you guys are interested in or not?

Thanks for sharing, I see a 20L with black base but with a clear lid. Can’t find one with a black lid although I know it would be easy enough to cover.

Still quite pricey if you need a load

Don't use uniseals; use screw in bulkhead fittings instead, and flexible tubing. 1" diameter is fine. You'll thank me later.

I’ve got 1.5inch pipes now and they just completely clog with roots, I’m now looking at 4inch hard pipe return and waterfall into each container. I’ve found uniseals for really cheap but I’m not sure if I should use them or the koi 4inch bulkheads instead.

Yes they clog but it's easy to reach inside and just pull the roots out. I've only ever had to do it once a run.

Try get in there and pull the roots out the pots, it goes back 3m of pure forest lol

This is how it was before I went into flower at 4 weeks of veg, nice and manageable, then boom lol the last pic is 4 weeks into flower

I designed my grow room for easy access to everything.

Yeah mines in the loft and can’t really do much other than what I did. Would love to have good access and look after them better but I got what I got.
