S-hooks of the soft green, twist-tie wire for securing....saves $ too...Oh, and those rubber coated wires (better than the twist-tie stuff) is pricey, and not great when you try to secure stuff to the pot. I make little hooks out of that stuff to hook the plant with, then use the roll of garden twist-ties to go from that to whatever I am tying it to.
The way...I have a 100' roll of the nice soft rubber wire, and I've only used a few feet of it so far, and keep re-using the hooks made out of it.
But I go through a lot of the other (disposable) stuff.
Haha, no hasn’t been to bad hanging out in the missus’s domain. I go in for 5 min in the morning before work and change out the frozen bottle( been thinking of getting 2nd hand hailea 150a chiller if I see one for the right price)in the dwc and check ph & ppm ( been thinking of getting a blue lab guardian monitor). After work I just do the same routine. On the weekend I change out the dwc water. Are you hating that it's stuck in a laundry room yet? Spending more time in there than you planned? Got a coffee cup ring on the dryer yet?
Looks great!
Lookin good.Day 35. Upped the watts a day ago on the qb132's to 234watts to get 478ppfd or 33500lux at 20" above plants. No ill effects after 24hrs.
On the downside, I am not sure that the top 2 nodes on the dwc are going to make it. They are not hanging on to much at the moment but they are still trying. I put a bit on fresh aloe vera on them just now. You can see from the picture they split pretty well. Should I just cull to tops or give them more time to heal? It has been feeding well with the ppm down to 340 today after being 400 a few days ago.
Did some lst and training on the soil plant which is going great.

Yeah I just covered the area with aloe vera to see if that helps it heal. Hopefully, it might form a knuckle maybe.Lookin good.
Let it go another week, then go with your gut...doesn’t seem like it will hurt anything to do so...this is a nebula, correct?
Cheers man.Looking good
Lookin Great man!Day 44. Plants bounced back great after defoliate 2 days ago.
Mixed up some new soup for DWC plant.
12ltrs water(3.17gal) 57ppm.
9ml calimagic-9ml each of the GH flora trio-40ml Rhizotonic-30ml Cannazym & 2ml Mammoth P ,ended with 600ppm (1.2ec) ph'd to 5.7. Kept 2ltrs aside in the fridge for a top up when within the week.
Finally got my Organic Worm Extract to make a soil drench for soil plant.
I have put 2ltrs water in a bucket with 1 cup of Humus rich Bioactive compost with an air stone to aerate overnight. In the morning I will strain it & add 10ml of the worm extract, 1/4 scoop of Kelp powder and .5ml of Mammoth P. and feed the soil. I will probably up pot to the 10 gal fabric pot in a few days.
I am looking at flipping on day 54.

Congrats, top quality tool. I use ec, but a lot of people like ppm, too.@Or_Gro Hi Mate, got this today, what do you usually view ec , tds or ppm? Edit: found some video's on the blue lab site on how to set up & how easy it is to use. Now I don't have to take the plant out of pot every day to check ppm, temp & ph with a pen.-Stoked
Did a bit more lst & trimming today, this Phantom OG seems to love it.
