Hello all, Finally created an account not to long ago after lurking for some time.
Just started my first grow, and after a months of debating, researching, etc.. If you read to much about it, it starts to become overwhelming from the 1000s of different possibilities,1000's of various setups, seeds, etc... I decided to go with a 3x3x63" Tent, 600W Bloomspect LED (10w double ships, great reviews, i may add a second if i see its needed last few weeks? Also went with the common 4"x12" Carbon filter, 195cfm inline fan.

Light Schedule has been 18/6 since day 1, Temps have been 77-82 F, Humidity between 40-56%

I went with the Jiffy pods with dome for germination ,planted at about 11pm on a friday night and on sunday morning we had life atleast on 3 of the 4 did (#4 waited until day 4, I hadn't quite had all the pieces together to put them in the tent so i kept them in a warm closet with a 65w home depot bluish colored grow light. Temps stayed at 80f with 45% humidity. The little fuckers started getting lanky so on tuesday day 3 they went under led's about 8 inches away. On day 4 roots started coming out the jiffy pod nets so i moved them into 3/4 gallon planters with holes on the bottom. I mixed 70% fox farms with 30% perlite. Mixed in a bucket and sprayed til damp then planted Moved LED's to 18" away from top of seedlings. I should mention that once the jiffy pods started getting light i would spray twice a day ,tap water PH 6.75. This morning i fed each one 2-3oz of water, and sprayed the rest of the dirt til damp colored. That was the first true drink of water they have had.

I'm starting to think the 2-3oz of water was a bad idea, seems like my babies look over watered just a tad.

Opinions/suggestions? How do they look to you, keep in mind #4 is a couple days younger and had a hard time opening up. #4 has ooked the same since day 1

Suggest using smaller containers. Helps prevent overwatering and speeds up growth. What you see above ground does little growing until roots find some boundaries.

Yah, I might of jumped the gun on pot size, I was checking on each one of them and when i saw the roots coming out of the net on sides, bottom. They have been in there for almost 24hours so i think I will leave them be and take it as a learning experience.

Just be careful on watering and you’ll be okay. With autos you should plant in the final container. Same thing there on patience watering.

I raised to 28inches, reduced exhaust fan to allow a bit more humidity, and they are thriving in it over night.. no more droop

Pots seem a bit light, i sprayed water on soil this morning.. starting to dry up.. got my FoxFarms nutrients in today, i was considering a light water with 1/4 tsp of grow big or Should i stick to spray bottle.. I'd appreciate the input..

Another 1st timer here as well. The 1st 30 days are the hardest. Try not to love them too much for the 1st 30. I wouldn't be giving them any nutes until you see that they need it. When watering, only water around the edge of the pot, (not around the stem) so that the roots have to go looking for water.

For the most part i leave them be. I need to invest in a better Temp/humidity monitor,

Today is officially week #2, we started growing 2nd set of leaves on day 5ish.. I definitely need to water today, i'm having a hard time figuring out how much

Just enough to get the roots wet,. A few tablespoons around the base. too much water will be bad. they look good so far you can tell when she needs water just look at her, when shes happy she will stand up proud and tall reaching for the light. it's better to have to little water then to much as long as your keeping an eye on her.

Looking good and best of luck, And Welcome to RIU.

Awesome, I was thinking about the same amount, but wasn't to sure.. Here's a pic of #4 around 12pm yesterday, Starting to grow a bit, this is the runt of the bunch and had the smallest seed of them all. Stem is looking healthy a bit thicker since getting desk fans put inside tent.

she looks good, keep up the good work and you will be very happy. Just come here if you need help there are many out here that give very good feedback that helps a bunch, and always some that don't, but the majority are very good people out here.

If you take water straight from tap that has chlorine or chloramine and then spray your plants you are really stressing them.
Best to let it off gas overnight even better yet go RO water, made a huge difference for me.
