I'm pretty sure someone somewhere along this timeline of cannabis lovers it's been done.

I'm guessing this technique would make all the terps better as chefs do with salmon etc to keep the flavor in, or i'm an idiot :/






Boil in the bag hash ....




vac packed n wrapped in a zip bag inside






boiled for exactly 8 mins (testing it for 1st time)









went straight into cold water here





peeled out like it was meant to be !!! very happy and the smoke is unreal !








Q: if i did it for an other 8 mins would it have gone black sticky ? (learning for now)

Q: and should i have added pressure with a rolling pin or something ?



your thoughts on this please
 
I don't believe it needs to be decarbed. Unless you are doing this for a "crack" type hard rock hash. The only worry is plastic burning or melting. That's always a risk. This was done in the 80's from what I've been researching.

ok well i did another batch, 3.7g for 30 mins full boil

it came out (without pressure) like a crumble, so a blonde kief pile .... it's all gone, I've been smoking it for the past 2 weeks without any shit taste




the 1st time 8 mins made it into a rock of blonde shit, u get me ?

You asked if you're an idiot and what others thought of this process. It does work. And if it's the most convenient with more pros than cons, then I say go for it man. I've seen others make this so it's a good recipe.;):weed:

if u apply pressure with a rolling pin in between boiling's then it will combined better.

Old days they used the cellophane from a cigarette packet and lots of tape, oven and a cold water tap.. Nice new wave way of doing it with the vac pack. Thanks for the tip!

gave it another go, 2.3 gram of keif, boiled for 4 mins this time and added pressure ... it worked well and tasted even better !

very happy !

Done some more

5 mins boil, press with cast iron pan (feet involved), cold water, back in the boil for 5 mins, press again (more feet involved), back in cold water .. done


also my new kief duster, with a simple copper micron screen (80, 100, 120 or one of them)

smokes like a dream, i'm learning and no expert but i got lump of sticky shit like the 90's back on my plate ... 10g

that's the 1st dust, i'm doing the 2nd .. see what i get, prob more green but i dunno nuthing about that atm

2nd dust, 2 mins boil then pressure, another 2 mins boil then pressure then cold water, i put the keif straight into the vac pac bag without anything else, this keif had a little leaf in and green but turned out just fine

14g all in, you can see the difference in color/grade or whatever it's called

Well well well... I’m from the future & have a bunch of kief to try this method, so I will post when done...170f water = overdone steak, so I guess it would equate to 170f kief which is ideal for rolling-compressing kief into Hash
Brilliant :)
