The F1 threw a pretty wide range of phenos. The one tip I can offer is that some of the shorter phenos that you’d assume would finish rather quickly, can take longer than the lankier phenos to finish. So I would be more vigilant about the trichomes around week 7-8 before assuming it is time to back off the feed for a fade. They may “look” done, but the trichomes may tell a different story.

The F1’s also displayed a nice variance in traits other than structure with nice melon/hash/earth/potato skins smell/taste profiles. I made the F2 with multiple females and one male. The male was very Bubba dominant, but being paired with the multi-females means you should get a more Bubba centric, but still pretty open spread in the expressions.

The Chocolate Mint OG is a stinky plant in veg and really stinky plant in flower. She’s in my top 3 plants for smell intensity.
You have no idea how happy i am to hear about the smell of that choc mint og i had also read elswhere useful said it was one of his favorite plants when he was given a cut. i can say the smell carries thru in breeding. idk if its the same smell but it's strong. traditional dank skunky odor. reminds me of a mexican brick seed i popped in the 90's i talk about that plant to this day it was my first ever grow in a 3 floor apt building my best friend lived on second floor long story short the entire halways reeked of skunks on both floors. if my freind didn't live on the second floor it woulda been a problem lol. i didn't know shit then tho and i didn't clone it. i didnt even know about cloning then as i grew it to save money on buying weed lol.
thanks for your F1 info. i always wonder if F2 from bought packs are realy F1 i mena i gotta assume they have ran it for a cpl generations just to see it and smoke it before release. i would assume any tru F1 would be testers. is this accurate?
oh and i will use my jewlers loop on trichs with those jabbas, thanks for the tip.

That Chocolate Mint OG cut will stink something fierce at about week 5-6 in flower. It's a very complex bouquet with some tire fire, skunky, deep-rich kushy cocoa mixing into a stank that will stay strong through cure. I can pop a jar in one room and have others call out, "You smokin' Choco?" I can't say if HSO still produces the same level of plants as they did when I bought up the seeds years ago, but there are a few of them that have and will remain in my library forever.

Most guys putting out F1 are just F1 seeds. You can test your F1 cross to make sure all is well and then release the F1 cross. It only becomes an F2 once you breed plants from the F1 generation again into a new filial (F) generation. If you just kept the same P-male and P-female (original parents) to cross, the result is still just F1.

So it's totally possible to have F1 seeds that have been tested and verified to be what the breeder was looking to create released with no slight of hand or dishonesty. You can always ask the breeder if they tested the particular F1 cross before release, whether you get an honest answer is a totally other topic.

I got some chemdog 91 skva x ectocooler about to break dirt. 2 stains I don't recall ever smoking.

Anyways, how does this cross grow. Is it bushy at all? Does it like to be topped?

The Skunk VA having the lankier branching needs the most support while she’s stretching. I have a topped and untopped Skunk VA on the same tray, and she does better when topped. She is eager to branch and has a surprising amount of vigor in doing so. The untopped version can take off on you. This tent has non-Chemdog stuff too; gives you an idea of the relative height.

The Chemdog'91skva is the original Chemdog popped from the Dogbud bagseeds in 1991. She responds to any training you'd like to put her through. I have more info scattered throughout the thread about the Chem'91skva (including bud shots).

The Ecto Cooler has an orange smell profile and a more open frame. He does not produce the very short stocky plants you'd see in Afghanis. The Ecto Cooler responds well to all training techniques also.

Feel free to post up veg shots once they start doing their thing and we can try to figure out which parent they are leaning toward.

dude i just saw you liked the cartoon pic about the phylos thing i posted on insta. did you happen to read the novel that was my argument with that attorney in the comments there. if you did or do at some point just know it was all out of order sadly so it's hard to piece it together chronoogically. i talked to that shit stain in private last year about this. now he just got my bllod boiling with his friggin' circular lawyer talk saying nothing. steam is flying out my ears man.
i don't even know if wyou and i agree on the phylos and ocp and you don't even need to share your views tbh but we can probably agree that dude is a typical double talking lawyer

Thank you. I will get veg pics up when they start growing. I like topping so it looks like I'll enjoy growing it out.
Dang it's nice to talk to the breeder and get good info. Again thank you so much.

I'll reread through the comments. I like the response made by someone on the subject that went something like: "Ya'll should've known not to trust him, look at his shoes."
