Update:

Added another 45w 2900 lumen CFL and reflectors on all three tonight. We'll see how that helps. Now a total of 7800 lumens and 115 watts of CFL on one plant. :blsmoke:

My temps got to like 95 in the room today. Not good. I hope this isn't going to be a regular temp. It's getting pretty hot outside, A/C inside is at 76 all day, but this closet just gets hella hot with all the lights in it. I gotta find a way to vent fresh air in and hot air out. But its a bi-fold closet door, with no room for any vents.

Any ideas?

Also, it is day 20, the Cotyls are dying, I clipped the second, single leave off (first burned off, lol.) Hopefully this will help with some new growth.

Today is the third week since sprout. Lots of new growth and a huge difference in the last week or so.

Today I put up some Mylar, and I can already tell she's loving the extra light!

Here are a few pictures from today. Day 21.

Day 25:

All is going smoothly. EXCEPT, summer is setting in here and the average GR temps have risen to about 91 degrees. Not too good but there is nothing I can do about it unless I get a small AC unit in there. The house stays at 75 all day, these CFL's just heat this closet up in no time. Hopefully this doesn't hinder the growth too much.

No burns or signs of heat stress. New leaves are curled up a bit maybe too much light?

curled leaves is a sign of heat stress.... Maybe you can put watter in a gallon milk jug... freeze it and then put it infront of your fan that is blowing on your plant... Its kind of like a home made air conditioner... !! Good luck..

looks like you might need to get your light a little closer. your starting to strechrember you have to keep cfls about 1''-2'' away fromyour plant to keep streching to a minamumi have my cfl about 2'' above my plants theyhave no streching from the top only the lower branches are streching out a little. it also helps with stem strengthmy stem s are fat and strong without a fan. i am using a 150w7900 lume cfl bulb.

All three of my CFL's are no more than 2'' away from the plant. The stem is almost 1/4" thick already, it's gonna be a small tree :)

I will try the ice jug idea. I'll post an update in the next day or so with some results hopefully.

Thanks guys.

I have no idea what happened to my baby. I check it today and the second set of leaves on both sides (three leaves, not five yet) are drooping way down and the tips are SLIGHTLY yellow, just barley noticeable. All this happened overnight!
