I don't know about all you wussys out there, but I LOVE high nutrient levels.
I grow my seedlings at 700 for the 1st 2 weeks, and then increase to 1000 at week 3, and then when I flip go to 1200 and at week 6 they will be at 1400 and at week 8 will be at 1500 until finish.
I grow in an RDWC with Rockwool as a starter base and then transfer to Hydroton, and have never cooked a plant, but I do get HUGE bud. :)

Anyone else grow at these levels, or am I just weird?

Here are my 6 week plants at 1400 PPM

Your running the Russian synthetic nute line by kushner Nutrients. You might fool the rest of them but not me ;)
I feed as hard as I can. Some strains can handle it more than others.
I found that 95% of my plants can handle it, it's like only White Widow struggles with it, but as long as the rest of the plants are ok, that's what counts to me.
I just don't grow WW anymore.

My glue maxes out at 1350. My Kandy Kush takes up to 1450. Strongest I have ever went was 1600 with a strain called Shiva, she was a beast. Wish I still had those genetics.

I'm running Technaflora BC products only, good stuff at a good price (fuk AN)
Nothing else.
Been running technaflora for 5+yrs now.

FN LOVE IT
1480ppm in flowrr all day long.

Heres a $ saving tip

Swap out sugar daddy for botanicare sweet raw. Its 20/gal cheaper, plus you only use half as much, and a better additive/ product

Been running technaflora for 5+yrs now.
I've used every nute out there at one time or another, especially when I was a rookie and wasted thousands of dollars on finding the perfect food that will help me to grow magical bud.
Man was I stupid (and a lot poorer).
I stumbled on Technaflora BC and Awesome Blossoms which are the only products I use now because they work and are a good price.
I use the Grow/Boost/Bloom and then during flower I add Awesome Blossoms which is 2-11-8, and really works well for flower/bud development.
Most of the nutes out there now it seems to me are basically snake oil, like especially AN products, like 1/2 of their products are pure shite (Bud Candy?)
But remember this, the plant doesn't give a fuck who made their nutes, as long as the ratio is correct.
NPK is all that counts in the end :)

Not that crazy mate, 1500 is not that high, I have many years ago with a White Widow been close to 2000, and just like you I drive my seedlings some what hard, at 22 days today I am at 1100 and moving upwards, mind you with 6 different strains, as others also mention, it can be tricky, some like it high, some dont.
