Yield Potential

I'm growing a Green Crack strain, it was advertised as having a maximum yield of 600 grams, is it necessary to incorporate training techniques like "topping" to reach that kind of yield? Or can you reach that yield without using any training techniques and just leaving the plant with one big main stem? Also, would I have to veg it super big to get that type of yield or could I get that much flowering it at an average height?

Thanks! :bigjoint:

Yes you would have to do some training if growing indoors. Major training if just 1 plant.

Is it crop kings green crack?

breeders of cannabis strains make lots of claims , I sum times think they get there wet harvest weight mixed up with dry weight ……..I havnt grown Green Crack , but have seen a mate grow it & it did go well, but topping & a bit of LST goes a long way to the end yield, from memory , he didn't have a real long veg time , maybe 4 weeks

What's LST mean?

If you look closely at those yield claims, most of them state per square meter. So if you were to grow one of those using the SCROG method, covering that entire 3 x 3 with bud potential, threw good powerful lighting and an ideal nutrient regiment at them, you could get close to 600 grams out of one.

Here's what you could get out of a 3 x 3 -

Honestly I would feed them to the birds and seek better genetics

Crop kings seeds are junk for the most part its just marketing and seeds from huge swap meets re packed

Hundreds of examples online of people growing crop kings and it not turning out to be what its supposed to be

You could get lucky and find a decent pheno and be happy but it most likely not real green crack

I wish you luck and hope you get a decent pheno not trying to be a dick but crop kings is junk

Most breeder's claim a yield of xgrams per meter squared. For the green crack you mentioned, it would be a yield of 600grams/meter squared. So, no I don't think you'll pull 600 grams unless you can train the plant into taking up a canopy space of 1 meter by 1 meter.

How far along are you? You might be able to throw the crop kings away and get better genetics

The owner of crop kings should eat a bag of dicks and choke

Tell us how you really feel Dieseltech...lol jk, I've never tried CropKings so I really can't vouch for how good/bad their genetics are. The green crack I've grown was from a different breeder.

Ok well since you put it that way. I fear that Big mike is gonna scoop up crap kings and re brand advanced genetics line
