I'm new to the forum. Second year growing outdoors in northern Colorado. Started about from seed about 1.5 months ago. Placed outside about two weeks ago. Outside temps are still pretty chilly outside. So I have a 1000watt inside a patio I bring them inside between 7pm at night and the light turns off at 6am they stay in darkness between 6am till noon then outside till 7pm until the night time temps raise a little.

Here are the pics. I have a lot of oldschool genetics and breeding going on here. Tomorrow when I have free time I will update.

Alright, a little up date. Today is april the 5th 2019. I've grown indoors and outdoors for years. But this is my first attempt to actually grow 5lb plants outdoors. I haven't decided yet to use smart pots or do 4'x4' raised beds yet. I'll probaby go the raised bed method probably gone to till the soil underneath and fill the raised beds with promix slightly admend the soil but plan on running teas and probably some bottle nutes like old age or something mostly organic. They were started off with maxi-bloom, calcium nitrate, epsom salt and silica 7-1-1 grams per gallon. Heavily de-folariated and they are still extremely bushy.

Strains are.

91 polecat (91 chemdawg x SSSC skunk #1)
91 polecat x double sharron (95 white widow)
91 polecat x ECSD
91 polecat x Romulian
91 polecat x Larry OG

Purple Plucker

Headband x skunk #1

I plan on crossing headband x skunk to everything.

I think headband which linage is (OG kush x Master kush) x East coast sour diesel to 91 polecat should be an amazing cross especially for outdoors.

The polecat is the biggest one because it was in a 18 gallon DWC pot that got transplanted into a 25 gallon pot.

Btw the soil is moonshine mix batch 64 from Denver Colorado

Not yet. I was planning on building large dog like kennels with chicken wire or chain linked fence all the way around them and possibly putting a screen on top. And raising the height of the fences with a birdblock of some sort. I know the last couple of years hail was horrible and comes quick without warning.

And our little succulent garden. I am an oilfield worker by trade but it looks like my trade is coming to an end with SB 181 in the next couple of years. So I might look into becoming a larger scale succulent farmer lol. 20190404_114920.jpg

U might want to look at a carport....this is a costco carport frame covered with plastic. Best of luck.

He is talking about they have to be caged and locked. Its the colorado law. Most people don't but its better to be safe than sorry. It's basically so kids and teens can't just snatch and grab nugs. I use to be a little shit that would same (never a ripper though).

Also the laws are stupid. You can grow up to three plants but only have an ounce on you. Sorry but my small plants are usually 3 to 4 ounces. I'm hoping for 5lb plants (hopefully lol).

But I live in very strange part of Colorado that is mostly Republican. Cops don't give a shit until you start to cause problems. The worst possible issue that could happen is that the cops tell us to cut them down or give us a fine. There is three med cards at this house. I do not live there but they are my plants. Worked out a deal, basically let me use your yard and get half and get half. But the most we are allowed is 12 plants. Im a little over but I have other house the babies will go too.

Im just the guy that supplies the medicine lol

Colorado conservatives are what make this state great man. Mind your business, and expect everybody else to do the same. I'm much more worried about rippers, then law enforcement here. (Also live in a very red county) Nice looking plants, would love to see them now.

Liking this thread. I've grown on and off again as a hobbyist for years. Started growing a little more regularly again once we bought a house and didn't have to worry about apartment neighbors. I've only grown indoors in hydro but had some leftover clones at the beginning of this cycle and decided to throw them in some potting soil and put them out in the backyard. I'm curious to see when they start flowering and how they do. Because they aren't in "compliance" I'm a little nervous about getting a knock at the door. All 4 of them are small plants and out of all the neighbors' field of view but I've been popped in a different state so I have a little apprehension about getting a visit from the locals. We're on good terms with the neighbors and I share the final product with those who partake so maybe I'm being overly paranoid. Wondering if anyone has had experience with that sort of thing in the suburbs of Denver?
