First legal outdoor grow

Hey guys back again for another year but as the title stated this year I wont get in trouble lol. As you can guess I live north of the border. Last year turned out to be pretty good with the plant I've been growing for the past few years. Harvested just over 13 ounces dried and cured not the best yield I've had of that particular plant but the bud structure and potency were certainly on point. This year decided to invest in some new genetics and decided to go with B.C. Bud depots,

God Bud
Sweet God Sweet tooth X God Bud
Shiatsu Kush

So far most excited about the Sweet God supposed to be a high yielder and an early finisher but we'll see I guess. Just put the first few that popped in soil and under a T5 will keep you guys posted with pics as things progress. Planning on trying a few things differently this year if anybody has had any experience with these strains outdoors would love to hear your input
Thanks again and good luck this year

Yeah that was the one I was originally the most excited to try but the later finish (mid October) scares me a little as we get a lot of rain in the fall and temps can drop pretty quickly. Pretty much the same reason I am leery of trying sativa's as they take to long in flower

So started 4 seeds of each strain listed above, and so far all of the sweet god's and shiatsu"s popped and went into soil. Two of the sweet god's have already broken through the soil and looks like a shiatsu is on its way as well. Unfortunately the God bud seeds don't seem to be as good. So far just one has popped and gone into soil (and just barely). When I opened the pack the seeds looked small and immature and not very dark in colour. Kind of sucks because they were the most expensive of the bunch. Cross my fingers and hope for the best I guess. Will take pics of the seeds later and post them

So one of the shiatsu kush popped through soil last night and hadn't shed its seed casing. Left it overnight after wetting a bit and came back this morning to find it growing with a little helmet head wtf ! I covered it up with dirt (afraid to pull it off) and dampened the new soil. I hope that does the trick , but if anybody has any other suggestions that would be greatly appreciated.
And still no more luck on the God Bud seeds

So the count so far is 2 sweet gods and three shiatsu Kush have popped there heads from the soil. I think we are going to have rename the god buds to god duds. Kinda makes me upset a little $100 bucks down the drain. Going to try a few more and then possibly make a complaint. So far two helmet heads from the shiatsu bit have been able to get the seed shells offEFC6A557-E46E-4952-9D4C-E38658C6F291.jpeg

As for the others we are 100% on the shiatsu although one is pretty weak and runty. And the Sweet God is 50% although the other two popped just did something wrong I guess when I put them in soil. Trying to pop 4 more god buds before I give up all hope. Here’s a few pics of the ones that did make it under the light. Amazing how quick they grow from week to weekA82D1349-CEF1-42FD-B34B-171C6E181F7D.jpeg

8A2415A9-F79F-4634-919C-EEF161DC57A4.jpeg Hey guys another week has passed and almost had a catastrophe on my hands. Plants started to dry out and show signs of over feeding but have been only feeding them water. Went to the local hydro shop and purchased a cheap ph test kit and found out my tap water ph is like high 7’s according to the chart. So went to work balancing out the water and watered the plants. Next morning they were loving life and starting to put out some new growth that looked normal. Potted up to 1 gallon pots filled with ffof and they seem to be enjoying their new home. Also topped the first one the other morning going to let the others grow a bit before I top them. Still going to top at the third node just thinking of cloning the tops and putting them into flower when the roots establish. Would love to be able to tell the sex of each plant as soon as possible so I won’t waste any time on males , and so I can maximize my plant countC039F44E-85A5-4BF0-9624-9514B31A1596.jpeg

Nice man will be following your grow, you got a good early start, I just buy distilled water so I know the ph and hardness is good, I grew B.c bud depot jack herer last year and was really impressed, good luck on the grow! I’m also doing my first legal grow

Thanks man! This is going to be the first year of never buying weed again. Set up the rain barrel the other day and it has been raining all day, already filled up! Took some and tested and came out a perfect 6.5. Have been buying distilled before that

A tablespoon of white vinegar in a gallon of water takes high ph water to the 6's.

If you are not buying it any more than cherish your males. They insure you get seeds.

Had a day at home doing paperwork what a drag. So had a little break and built this 10 minutes of work and a $30 investment in parts. Hope it works as good as everybody says. If anybody has any input 43C21BE5-9C7D-47E1-8546-80552F48DAC7.jpeg that would be greatly appreciated. As well right now I only have rain water in there. Should I be adding anything?

Might have started them a little early this year. Still have a month to go before they can go out. Have been training the a little to keep the height down. It’s what I usually do outside anyways to keep them from growing over the fence. I think next year I’ll start them a little later they are going to be monsters. Got some clones rooted and am going to try and sex them before they go out E7B1FB6E-971D-44D4-8B2C-452C61FD3A4A.jpegEFE32A81-F7F2-4E09-A553-DC0CAE7F9C66.jpeg
