Do fans put off a lot of heat?

i got my fan coming in going to use it for intake but my only option is to run the fan inside the tent because if i run it outside the tent it is possibly going to get wet from the rain ( it rains here quit often too ).

would the heat be a concern or no?

thanks i set mine up but the thing aint dropping temps considerably. dropped it by 5degrees only
Ise it as an exhaust not an intake, let the pressure from exhausting bring fresh air into the tent. You want the tent to have a megative pressure (so much air leaving that air is sucked in theough all cracks not a positive. (So much air comming in its forced out through the cracks.)

Guys if I'm not mistaken his tent is his bedroom

He's talking about putting the intake fan outside and it getting rained on

Not the actual tent?

Or am I that badly out of the loop here lol

What size/CFM fan, size of tent, and light? Do you have all your tent intake vents open?
fan is 4" T4 AC Infinity. CFM 205. Tent is a 4x4x6.7' gorilla tent lite line; lights are a cheap chinese 2000w King Plus LED off amazon actual wattage is 395 stated by the company. i have had the vents both opened and closed to test readings they don't seem to vary by much if anything. it goes up by 1 degree if i close all the holes.

thanks i will try this out. would it be best to set up the exhaust at the top due to all the hot air rising?

Cool air gets sucked in the bottom and warm air is sucked out of the top. How does your room temperature outside of the tent compare to inside of your tent?

they are about the exact same i have a hygrometer on the fan and one outside both temps are the same 82F and the RH is off but not too far off only about 2-4% inside reads 63% outside reads 66%

If they are the same exhausting out of the tent wont help much. Might be ac time
yea i think it is time for AC tbh. i have better lights coming in on monday gonna hold off on the ac for now and then check out the lights and temp drop if any it should drop in temps tbh
