thanks gypsy,i hav a clear plastic dome ova them 2 keep humidy up,rockwool ony damp.how did u make them photos large like that?

fuck,if i didnt know u were serous id say u cut buds of a plant and stuck them in the bubbler.i upload photo from desktop,dont know how 2 do them photos

then you open that image's page and copy the address...

then you type
and it should work... but you still have to do what you did... it's an additional step...

ye,thank you,its nice 2 get sum1 who gives strate answers.i like ur journal.plants r a bit small for me,but i like it.why has ur 2" clones got so long roots?i hope mine dosnt hav that much

These are my miniatures... they are small on purpose... I wanted them like that...

But I know what full size plants look like.. I am used to growing outdoors..

As for the roots... I run a DWC set-up and my roots are free to grow and dangle in the solution...

Well lit and well fed... the roots grow... so the canopy grows... My clones build up roots and then explode up top...

I have already taken 3 x 2" clones from that clone... in a week from what you saw...

If you undid the RW.. you would be surprised to see how much root is in there... growing in different directions...

Oh Sure!!!

RW works fine for many many people... and like everything else, it takes a few tries to fine tune it to consistent performance...

I just don't like it... I have had stem rot issues due to over watering... and I know I could have watered less... but I think I have a system that works well for me... so I just stay away from it if I can...

I like the ability to see 100% of the plant... and changing my foam pods if they get algae or smell funny or anything.. easy and clean....

As long as you know that RW should never ever be crushed or wet you will be fine.. and it sounds/looks like you got it under control...

If there is about 1/2 inch of stalk to work with, you can take a clone. The smaller it is, the less vegetable matter (lower fan leaves) you want there to be!! You only need a couple leaves for photosynthesis on a clone that small. Cut top leaves in half and completely remove bottom fan leaves. Make sure that there is complete surface to stalk contact inside the rooter plug or whatever you use. Recently i took a very small cutting and used a zip tie to tighten the plug around my clone for a couple wks. It took 16 days, but it finally took root. Another thing, is never give up until it turns brown!!! If it still has green it still has a chance to bounce back. Clones will always sag and look like they are gonna die for the first couple days after being cut.

jimmy thanks for the info,i had no lower leaves,only the leaves that u c.cud u tell me the reson y i shud cut the top leaves in half?will it take over 2 weeks 2 root these clones?my clones r still droopy.i didnt water them 2day,they were damp enuf

You could take a cutting of any size you wish. What I usually do is take a cutting with at least 3 sets of leaves. If in those three sets of leaves there are large fan leaves I cut those in half to reduce transpiration of the plant because since they do not have roots yet their only means of obtaining and holding water is through leaves. I usually take clones from the bottom of the plant. The higher you go up the plant the longer it takes for it to root because the younger hormones are located there. Also, to ensure more surface area when roots do come out I splice the bottom of the cutting in half prior to dipping it into a rooting compound.

if the leaves r the only way 4 the plant get water,shud i not keep the hole leave?i did cut a nick up the stem and cut it 45 % and dip in powder.i think i cut it and planted it rite,i was wondering cuz they were small,will they gro,now i am wondering abot the leaves,cud i cut them now if it helps.i need some1 else 2 tell me that 2,no efence,i dont want 2 reck my clones.
