Hello all, I have some three week old plants that started showing signs of browning bottom leaves, I had them in 4 inch pots planted in some custom soil mix that is made locally by a company here in Michigan. Other than the bottom leaves starting to brown they look healthy. I was told by a reputable grower that the browning of the leaves was caused by the plants being root bound. I have since transplanted them into 3 gallon pots. They did seem to have a lot of roots. I have seedlings that are a little over a week old in this same mix that are doing great. What do you guy's think.

My water is well water and it ph at about 6.3. I don't understand why my seedlings that are planted in the same soil are doing so good? These were also doing good until just recently?

agree with renfro and seedlings come with all they need to grow in the seed itself (that is why seeds are so nutritious) they will look good for a while but will suffer the same eventually

New growth looks good so I wouldn't flush but nor would I feed any other nutes for a while.
With rich/hot soil you can get a little burn like that early on but then you get great growth and those old bottom leaves will be gone later so I wouldn't sweat it.
