I knocked off a piece of popcorn last night accidentally so will get a tiny little taster in next day or so but won’t be anything on the bigger, more mature buds.

Hello everyone,

So I decided to delve into growing my own. Just looking for a bit of feedback/guidance.

Let me know your thoughts -

Strain - blackberry gum from seed stockers
Lights - 200w cfl main lamp for first 4 weeks of veg and first two weeks of flower then added 6x 75w energy savers to help the lower buds out (actually draws 20w or something)
Nutes- Remo nutrients (following his feeding schedule) has some early nute burn but got to grips after the first 3 weeks or so and no problems since.

I think that’s all the important info. ^

A couple things to mention - I had a lot of problems with getting my plants to stretch out. They are very bushy. But the main thing is how dense / how much my buds are filling out. I’m on day 45 of flower, Am I where I should be? Could I be doing anything extra to make them bigger?

Ignore the auto. It’s just a free seed a shoved in the tent. I don’t mind that it’s only getting 12/12. Just fancied seeing what it would do.

Thanks man. I posted some updated pics a couple posts back. And I know what you mean about the lights.
I love tending to my plants as much as I love smoking them at this point and if my budget, space I have to work with and current legal standpoint of my government wasn’t so restrictive I would set my goals a lot higher.
On a silly side note - If anyone is in the US and owns a farm and are looking to diversify their staff. Enthusiastic English grower ready to relocate! Haha. Would love to get a foot in the door in the industry.

Thanks I'd appreciate it, one thing for sure our plants look identical which is a good sign, and if the smoke is good I think I'll do a whole run of this strain.

I took some cuts for clones but I'm having some trouble rooting them, have you tried to clone this strain yet?

Nada. First grow my friend so was getting the basics out of the way. One thing I can say about this strain though is it’s resillience is on point. I defoliated the heck out of these girls and they bounced back within days, every time. Full and bushy once again, praying to the light. Ive had a couple of other knockbacks and they have pulled through them all quick time which leads me to think a clone taking root will have no problems whatsoever. Very hardy plant.

I thought about taking clones also however managing this strains bushiness is a challenge (the only challenge) and with the space I have to work with adding more girls I think I would end up with humidity and heat problems.
I would like a strain with a little more stretch and less foliage for next time. Can maybe get another two in there then without risking my whole crop.
