Is My Crop Doomed?

Hi All,

I'm midway through week 5 since I put 4 plants on 12x12. I guess they are transitioning from preflower to flower as some the of the hairs have begun to turn orange and turn inward.

I'm seeing possible nutrient lockout (or deficiency) again. Now when I say, "again", I am referencing a thread I started a while back which I will link here if you want a concise log of the advice I was receiving and acted upon: https://www.rollitup.org/t/potash-deficiency.984945/

It's been two weeks since I resumed feeding at 1/2 strength nutes (Sensibloom A&B) but I am still seeing signs of wilting, yellowing, and now curling on one plant. I'm not sure what to do. Flush? Go back to pH'd water feeding?

Here's pics.

looks like Nitro toxicity to me, too many nutes my friend. Thin, dark green clawing leaves gives it away with the burnt tips moving in. What is your ppm going in.
I generally measure the EC and it is typically between 1.0 and 1.7 (less since I cut feeding in half).

Feed water water feed

up ppm to 650-700
feed at ph of 6.5 same for just a water.
add a little microbe and humic acid once a week.

Wouldnt do much of anything chasing a problem is the wrong thing to do in mid flower.

Make sure your environment is on point.

Ditched the ppm meter and all that extra cutesy crap, and my plants are every bit as healthy as before. Idk. Seriously overrated stuff unless you have a real serious issue with knowing how to feed your plants. I know a few old school growers who don’t check ppm or ph and I’d have a hard time finding one of these new age growers that could produce same quality of health and effect from plants. Lime it, get a good fertilizer and stop playing the extra games. It’s a bit silly

That's all fine and well for future grows but how does this help my current crop?

I’ve found the Promix to drop ph pretty bad after a while if you don’t buffer it. Not saying that’s your issue but could be part of it. The many different fertilizers you were using before have a good chance to be a cause. I would really have to read the whole thread, including the one you linked. I did read some of it. Problem didn’t start until you began flower. How long have they been in same pot and do you check run off ph or anything? When did you stop using the several different ferts and has the problem got worse since?<

Well right out of the gate, I see overwatering and what appears to be a heavy fan on them, though that could be the overwatering. You've got some nute issues but I'll need a more in depth look.

I have to go fix a horse fence, but I'll read your other thread when I get back for a more thorough diagnosis.

Thanks man. Yeah, the issue didn't start until a couple weeks after 12x12. They have been in 5 gallon pots since 12/27. I had discontinued everything as advised on the previous thread and then resumed only with half strength Sensibloom A&B and Voodoo Juice (I use Hygrozyme as well for decomposing roots but that is non-nutritive) when advised in the previous thread. The issue seemed to be clearing up on it's own until this week. I will discontinue the nutes again as suggested.

I'll try to get some better pictures with no HPS later tonight.

I always pH and EC the runoff. The pH usually seems on the low side while the EC is usually very high. Would flushing be bad at this stage?

I will discontinue the nutes again as suggested. ////// Why would you stop feeding in mid flower

I always pH and EC the runoff. //////////////////Which is a waste of time and tells you nothing you need to know. Water in at 6.5 and let the microbes do the rest, research what microbes do. They regulate the ph on the root surface among other things.

Would flushing be bad at this stage? /////////////////////////No as long as you renute right after the flush. Add microbes back as well since they/some will be lost in the flush.

///////////////////////////
Your plants are not that bad keep them happy and stress free and ride it out.

I guess I don't know what you mean when you say microbes. The medium I am using contains mychorrhizae and I use Azos bacterium when I transplant. Do you mean I should add more Azos to the feed?

mycorrhizae isnt the same as a bacteria product.

https://www.planetnatural.com/product/azos-nitrogen-fixing-microbes/

This your stuff above? Says nitrogen fixing bacteria //one type of bacteria. You dont want nitrogen fixing bacteria in flower

Suggest this product
http://npk-industries.com/microbes_bloom.html

Use the bloom in veg and bloom not that much difference between the two no need to buy two products.

Or maybe a product called recharge
https://www.amazon.com/Real-Growers-Recharge-16oz/dp/B00J1CC9LQ

A little pinch once a week to repopulate the population.
