First time'er showing off new grow

I’m taking the fan leaves off the other two plants and will let the whole plant hang dry. I don’t feel like trimming anymore.

I have lsd seeds ready for the next run. I need to use the tent for drying so I’ll start them in another week or so.

I have a nice chunk of scissor hash now :) can I mix this in with a joint like normal hash? I don’t have a pipe.

This is my plan for tomorrow's chop, gonna just take fans off and dry her whole I think. Slow down the drying process a little, my rh levels are low this time of year.

Don't want to run humidifier , already have 2 running for my tents

I love scissor hash, so pure on the terpenes. If you can let it dry enough to crumble or roll it in a thin snake you can put that in a joint. Make the joint fat or a blunt because all that resin will plug up anything too small.

Are the LSD seeds from Barneys? I grew that strain back around 2009. It was great smoke, had the tendency to throw a few bananas though so she was always an early chop, never could see what she would do with a long 70 day flower without risking seeds.

Drying it whole will definitely slow down the drying and allow for more cure during the process. You just gonna hang it upside down?

Ya I think so, from what I've seen of guys hanging them whole, they just snips the big fans and hang it upside down.

May place it in a cardboard box with ventilation holes cut out. Help contain some rh but keep air flow?

I dunno lol

I dunno about the box, don't want any mold. Maybe after it's half dry then box it or something.

My humidity in the basement is about 45% and it took seven days to dry... made the entire house reek.

Cool I will let it dry out a bit. The has from last weekend is already crumbly.

Yea they are Barney’s. :cry: Did it happen with every plant?
 
My humidity in basement is around 21- 22% ( pellett stove heat) very very dry this time of year.

i have been running 2 humidifiers in my tents since the beginning to get it up to the 55-60 range.

both tents are in use, so cant dry in there, basement too dry, not sure what else to do, other than hang it whole.

I seen a few guys using cardboard boxes with good ventilation and small fans circulating air from the bottom, not sure what else to do to keep rh up for a slower dry, if i just lay them out like we discussed, i fear the dry will be way too fast with my rh levels
 
Final numbers are in! My scale only goes to 100 grams so I had to borrow a larger one. Total haul was 342 grams. That works out to 1.22 grams per watt. I didn’t mix the 71 grams from the hermi plant in. It still tastes terrible so I’ll use it for something other than smoking.

None of the plants really made large buds. Just tons of small dense buds. We smoke about 8 ounces a year so this grow could cover us for a year and a bit lol.

New seeds are being planted this afternoon :)
