Give a ways don't make a nutrient worth while. More like a look over there while pockets are fleezed.

I'm happy with MC and that is all that matters to me, other people can experiment all they want....give me something better for the same price or less and I'm in.

Even changing it every week I'm still going to get two full runs (8-9lbs) off a bag of MC. A gallon of Dynagrow is like 250$ and won't even get me half way into bud on 1 grow.

Let me guess, you took the price of a pint and assumed the price per ounce was the same at the gallon size? That's seems to be the same math you use when you talk about your grows! lol You take your best plant from your best run during the best time of year and extrapolate that one best to come up with hyper-inflated numbers for an entire year. Oh, and I bet you never changed your res and only used one cup of dry food in the process too! :roll:

None of us have ever used anything else. Face it dyna gro might be good or bad....who cares. If it's water in a bottle...gimme a break. The value WILL NEVER be anywhere close.

Your not really helping dyne gro...you hurting by comparing it. I'm not knocking dyne gro, just saying who cares is all...over priced water in a bottle.

I just searched online for a 1 gallon jug in Canadian dollars. More than MC and won't do 1/4 of the job, although I'm sure the buds are nice.

Sounds like I need to at least try mega crop at some point. Also is it mega crop or maxi crop? I've seen both and want to make sure I don't get the wrong thing.

One of the things I love about the Envy I use is the cost.
However it always has to be ordered https://www.envybrand.com/index.php/envy-hydroponics .

I don't mind paying for a little water when it comes with simplicity and a great result. I have never liked mixing dry nutrients in the past. Envy cost like $70 for 1 gallon of a+b, and mixes up over 500 gallons of full strength solution so it's pretty cheap.

Mega Crop. Envy sounds good but still more than 2X as expensive from my calc.

Mega Crop is a one part for flower or veg....it doesn't get any easier.
All you do is vary how much you use. They have an excellent calculator on their site.
I used dry WAY back in the 80's and it was complicated...actually sucked really.
But MC is NOT anywhere the same crap.
My results are pleasing me HUGE.

I bought FP once. When you shook the bottle, it sounded like there was rocks and sand in there.

Plant performance was sub par compared to many nutrients I've used over the years.

I'm laughing at the narrative in your stoner brains :lol:. What were my first words in this thread? 'It's not about the brand, it's about the mineral ratios of your product.' The mineral ratio in MC isn't ideal for hydro (lots of leaf and stem while sacrificing yield). Want to prove me wrong? Man up and join the competition - or just hide behind your keyboard with excuses. Keep in mind there is no hiding your flaws as a grower when pictures are required every week. Comp starts in maybe 10 days? Look it up.

I have lots of flaws as a grower. The nice thing about Mega Crop is that it forgives me for them all and lets my plants thrive *despite* me, lol.

Who needs to prove anything...I've done that already. This stuff work better than any other nutes i've used. Which is about 4 brands in the last 6 or 7 years.
I'd say it's dyna gro that's got something to prove. Hell maybe it works good...not bashing it as I have no experience with it.
But cost wise that's a no brainer unless your math challenged.
Water in bottles...not any more.

I've decided to do a comparison grow using Mega Crop in hydro. My current competition grow will be the baseline for Mega Crop to be compared to. I'll of course look at all the relevant metrics (performance, ease of use, pH stability, plant health, etc.) and we'll see how this all shakes out. I checked out MC's website and they have a lot of misleading information about the cost of comparable products on the market. For instance, they're calculating their own cost of use at a feeding strength of 1.0 EC but when they calculate the cost of a competitor's product, they're doing it at feeding levels sometimes well over 2.0 EC. That's shady as hell and it's the same thing AN used to pull when attacking their competitors in the market. I'll update with a link at some point. This should be fun and very telling.
