That's a pretty good idea. I have some smaller ones I've built that takes about 15 mins to put together. And pushes 205w of mixed spectrum 35k and 5k for veg. They are extremely bright.
I have electrical exp. I wiuld be interested in buying the components if you came up with a suitable list.
Something like the previous caller stated.
You have the knowledge, but how to Bill for your time. I could see it getting annoting having newbies throwing whacky questions at ya

Drivers mounted. Now to connect power on both AC and DC sides. And fire this lady up. Gotta come up with a name for it. Anyone got any good ones? I'm getting side plates CNC routed for it my other 3 lights.

Mounted them 1" above the heatsinks so air can pass above and below the drivers.

You should throw in a synergetic freebie like these.
They're cheaper than a knife set and weigh less too.

thats alot of aluminum..it would cost a ton up here..do the strips even need cooling ?
anywa..y looks great with the u channel..makes a great frame

here ...one 8ft piece is 18.95 can$
I already had the aluminum minus the tnutz frame parts. I paid 33 bucks for it shipped. And the 1x1 16awg tubing costs me 7.99 per 8ft stick. I have like 20 or 30 sticks of it. I need two sticks total. I couldve used alum angle that I already have. For the end caps. But then I wouldnt be able to adjust the strips.

Tnutz= 33 bucks
1x1= 8.00x2=16.00
Sonoff= already had it. But 8.55 shipped from Amazon
Strips= under 100 bucks.
2 drivers under 100 bucks shipped

So I'm under 300 bucks for 502.6w so I'd say it's a pretty cheap investment considering the return.

I wouldnt run eb series without mounting them to something running at 1.4a per strip. And eb series are just flimsy bc they have epoxy based pcbs instead of alum backing so they kinda need mounted to something for just holding them. There several people running them without them mounted. But to me they are jus too flimsy without something.

I wouldn’t even call it a rigid pcb, it’s just enough to not be foldable lol
But I’m betting they transfer heat pretty good, that’s pretty thin aluminum too, I figured it didn’t take much to disapate these strips as they are designed to just mount in a steel cabinet right?!
