Some would, some wouldn't. There are a whole lot of people in this country that really like guns. In many cases, it compensates for their lack of intelligence. Kind of like the Old West where those with the least intelligence and fewest skills considered themselves just as good as somebody who did because they had the power to project a piece of lead through a skull.
