Growing your own medicine cuts down on corporate profits and weakens them against foreign competition. Once one corporation goes down, another and another will too - like a row of dominoes.

Robert S. McNamara won the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Have you won the Presidential Medal of Freedom?

Ha! I thought not. We must listen to Robert S. McNamara because he won something.

Right @ttystikk?
But he knew how to sell Fords.

Did he get that award for the 2 seater T-Bird?

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/most-cfos-see-a-u-s-recession-coming-by-2020/

"Eighty-two percent of chief financial officers polled believe a recession will have started by the end 2020, and nearly 49 percent think the downturn will arrive sometime next year, according to the Duke University/CFO Global Business Outlook, released Wednesday. "

While fantastic Dow averages have little to no effect on 80% of the population a recession affects the shit out of them.

Just what we need more polluting ICE vehicles....Fiat-Chrysler doesn't like electric cars.
Fiat Chrysler Will Reluctantly Join The EV Revolution — Sort Of
If Sergio Marchionne, head of Fiat Chrysler, had his way, his company would never build an electric car. He hates EVs and begs people not to buy the few electric cars his company sells. In a perfect world, FCA would build nothing but Dodge Ram pick ups and Jeeps with monster V-8 engines.
But it is not a perfect world. Regulators around the world are demanding cars and trucks with vastly decreased carbon emissions. Some countries and cities are starting to consider banning internal combustion engines altogether, which would leave FCA with nothing to sell in much of the world, especially Europe, India, and China. It’s unlikely the company could long survive retailing only large trucks and SUVs.

According to a recent announcement, the company has now decided it must invest $9 billion in building cars that have electric motors. It says it will have 30 models with some degree of electrification on the road by 2022, although the suspicion is the majority of those will be conventional hybrids, with a few plug-in hybrids and one or two battery electric cars thrown in to burnish the company’s image.

Marchionne says cars with internal combustion engines will still be found in the “vast majority” of FCA vehicles for the foreseeable future.

Do you own stocks and did you benefit from Trumps tax cut for the wealthy
Do you live in Michigan and hope for a union job?
Either way don't have children because they will all suffer due to Trumps actions for generations
If you do have kids be sure and apologize and tell them daddy should have educated himself
