Anyone have any experience mainline or manifolding?

I just tried this technique for the first time, I topped above the third node and and pretty much took all the veg growth from under the third not completely off the plant. Then I tied the two branches down, my questions are basically did I do it right? And next how long with it take from this point until I can flower it? I’ve read if downing indoors I should stop at around 8 tops? I’ll post a picture when I get back
 
I’ve heard I was supposed to take off the tops from my beach too, just leave the two small ones on the ends but I just wanted to leave the other two to see what happens I guess

Depends on how many tops you want. If you only want the 8, I add an extra month on veg time for recovery and good measure. 8 weeks overall.

I don't know what you mean "compared to a seed plant" though.

I meant as far as how fast they grow I didn’t know if cutting it up like that would Somehow stunt the growth

I find that any training slightly stunts growth. Take lst, it's very minor but still takes the leaves an hr to readjust in the direction of the light.

When you cut plants, they take a little longer. The cuts have to seal (I find aloe or honey on the cuts helps to seal them quicker and doesn't stunt as bad) and the branches and leaves have to readjust to to the light.

I give 3 days minimum for full recovery on cuts. So 8 tops, 3 cuts, 9 days minimum... Bare minimum. Expect more like 4 or 5.

Then, once that's all said and done, you want it to grow a little taller for those donkey dick colas... Another week to 2 weeks.

Also depends on the plant, how quickly it rebounds. Some strains take to training better lol.

Fucking variables. Just figure about a month from now, hopefully til flower.
