First time grower....advice on when to harvezt

that is mine in flowering. pretty sure they past done for the energetic high but i always notice when they look like they done they not ( depending what your going for of course ).
usually they tend to bulk up a little more after the 2nd bulking is when i harvest.

that is the full plants few days ago. i'll try and post a pick up from today but the smaller one gotten much more frosty and the buds are slightly bigger as well on both. idc for the highs right now so i pull based on size of nugs as long as the trichomes are not amber. couch lock or not it doesn't really bother me because i smoke at home when i aint got anything really to do but with these ones i'll likely make into edibles or use in a tea or something so i can knock out at night since i have sleeping problems. but yea as hugo said they should be done from what i've read. the more cloudly the trichomes get the more couch lock. i don't remember but i believe you do not want amber trichomes.

Thos is tjem today. they kinda bulked up since but hard to really tell. it's more noticeable on the smaller nugs imo filled out more gaps but yea im gonna be harvesting soon. i asked this before on my first grow they looked like that but then bulked up again and the end results they were nice fat nugs trying to replicate that with this one but that one i flowered for a long time.
these ones i flipped only about 5 weeks ago so they probably can run another week or 2 more if not probably just fucking chop um after week 1.

In the first post, that is. But you should really consider investing in a cheap-o 30-60x digital pocket sized microscope...I got mine from amazon. Then you can examine bud by bud the progress of your trichomes.

Lol oh I understand that, no matter how many grows I do I still get nervous and question whether I'm chopping early...go with your gut, I'm sure it'll go ok! If anything it's good to wait for a few trichs to start going amber...it lets you know that your plant has peaked out.
idk though because i don't have a jewelers loop yet and i fucking told myself i would have one for that grow lmfao. but i just read some thread somewhere idk if it was on here or what but the guy stated a "2nd bulk" meaning the nugs will fatten up again. so im trying to see if they will bulk up more or if he was talking about the actual pistil formation you see around week 3. where the pistils form and then you see the tiny nugs forming then eventually it turns into regular looking buds.
idk though for me it's just a learning process right now. im not focusing on a specific type of high just trying to go for weight and get flowering down more. i feel like i got the veg down to a decent bit where i can say i aint that much of a noob. flowering wise idk wtf im doing still yet.
