So I started flower on the first of Feb. I'm 14 days in and I have a couple questions based on these pics.

(1.) What can I do to help with the heat? I have a 1000w hps, with 2, 6" inch booster fans venting the heat outta the roof of my 5×5×8 tent. My temps steady out at around 83°f - 84°f and I dont wanna pull air from outside, the outside temp is pushing 25°f on average. A/C seems drastic, if I'm gonna buy an a/c I'm gettin one big enough to do my entire bedroom that my tents are in. Maybe get a 6" inline fan to vent the 1000w?

(2.) Can I super crop the branches on my golden lemons at this point?(the taller plants in the back. Take em down about 6-8 inches maybe? Or is it too late?

(3.) Can I still hit em with a solution of cold pressed neem and a tiny bit of mild dish soap at this stage, or is that gonna be a no go?

(4.) I have 1 745cfm fans pulling air out of 2 5×5×8 tents. Amid working that fan too hard? I have two 8" booster fans that I can hook up on the other side, turn it into more of actively ventilated room than a passive one.

Thanks for any help guys. Hope everyone has an awesome day!

I'd crack a window and let some cold air in. Free AC so why not.

What is it you want to use the neem for? Going to make the buds taste like neem even at this stage.

When I get colas that stretched up too much I roll the stem firmly between my finger to soften it up, maybe at 2 or 3 nodes, so it gets soft and lets the top flop over. Even if the stem splits along its length it won't slow down growth on the top cola. Just want to avoid it snapping across the stem but I've had that happen too and the cola still got big. Lower down ones will grow larger with the top hanging down too.

1. You should already be venting that 1000 watt with a 6" fan at least 400 cfm

2. Yes you can supercrop still at this stage

3. Why? Do you have mites? If so look at other products that won't leave a residue. Neem shouldn't be used after veg.

4. Use as many fans as you need to exhaust the heat if you have them.

No mites or bugs, (knock on wood). I was considering using as a final preventative measure before flower really kicked. BUT, I was thinkin it might leave a film or a residue, I just wanted to run it by some other sentient beings before I jumped ze gun. But my humidity never rises above 31% so I should be pretty good on possible threats of p.m and what not. I keep things pretty clean in here as well

I won't ever touch neem again in my life! I killed on of the best phenos, I've ever grown, now granted I'm sure it was my own fault and made it too strong but still

now i use azamax, it has neem in it plus other stuff and has never hurt my ladies!

just my 2 cents, best of luck to you!

Oh you were wondering about the neem to prevent PM. It does work for PM. I never even think about PM because I have never had it growing indoors. I do use neem once a week in veg as a preventative. I haven't had bugs for years since I started that practice so I'm afraid to stop. I've had pm on outdoor plants but never indoors. That's why I never go near my plants after working outside in the garden without taking a shower. Your grow tent environment is as clean and sanitary as you keep it.

Keep your humidity in check and you shouldn't need to worry about PM, mold, etc... A good growing environment will prevent many of the issues that plague some growers from time to time.

I've fried a few plants with neem but that was years ago. I use a mild solution now and spray the leaves and top of the grow media. Check out the name as well. The neem tree (Azadirachta indica). Neem's and indica.

Neem seed meal can also be mixed into soil. It's a good nitrogen source. It also has smaller amounts of P & K.

"Azadirachtin is systemically taken up by plants through roots and weakly systemic in the leaves. It has both systemic and direct contact action. Only sucking and piercing insects are affected by the systemic form."

Don't neem your buds, no way, no how....
I bend branches whenever necessary to get into position, well into flowering sometimes, and have yet to experience a negative effect from doing so...
Gotcha. For sure, I was already apprehensive when I asked at first and they say a gut feeling is not to be taken for granted. I'll stick to using it one the veggin' babies. Thanks for the 2 cents though man✌

No Shit! I did not know an overage of cold pressed neem could be that harmful. I'm messing with an organic super soil recipe right meow, as I'm making the transition from synthetics. (A.N line). It requires neem cake. It's my first time mixin it and I hope it doesnt fry my roots in a similar way

I bent over, more than just 3 nodes though. I hope it wasnt too much, but I've super cropped them a bit in veg, and the all took to it with a hitch. My problem is that 83° heat. I have to run my vent fan constantly just to keep up. I was told to put my vent 745 fan on a timer to kick on every 5 mins to exchange the air. And then run a small dehumidifier/humidifier in the tent to maintain r.h.
