Raise the light. It's not the heat. It's light intensity. Suggest 22" at least. I would go higher until the issue is resolved.

My neighbor switched to LED. Electricity is expensive here in Alaska. Really expensive. He started having issues and there was no information like that site or this one.

There's still guys on here who see my comments on effect from LED and ask if I'm still on this. Now there's more evidence of problems that can be addressed and fix most of the issues. Increasing light distance is a quick attempt to stop it while you figure it out.
