Help with bad fungas knat infestation

Hi guys now
I have a bad infestation of knats I live on a farm and the bastards are everywhere I'm pretty sure I carried then in with me as my room is sealed tight I have them coming out the bottom of pots in the wee holes and out of the top of soil flying around the room I have dried out completely and trested with yellow stickys and used hydrogen peroxide which slowed it but not for long have since used neem oil 3 times and still getting them have found larvae in the tray at bottom I have tried everything and caught hundreds on stickys yet still infested any ideas would be great

Gnatrol or the cheap version mosquito dunks. Use in youre nutes as a soil drench to take care of the gnats. its safe to use anytime.

Also look up root aphid. Make sure you don't have those, thats a whole 'nother ballgame.

I put fly strips in room a jar with apple cider vinegar tiny holes in lid for trap. Like renfro said...pray u don't have the root aphids.

I'm just going to throw this out there...read the small print on the Mosquito Bits / Dunks / whatever they're called. They specifically say don't use these in potable water situations...I wonder why that is? You reckon it's because these Bits / Dunks aren't good for a person to be consuming via their drinking water? Now consider your plant pulling it's tainted Mosquito Bit / Dunk Soup into it's system so you can smoke it later. There are better...and much safer ways.

If you have an infestation it may be too late for this to work but never the less; try it. Take yellow sticky traps and cut them up into manageable pieces and place them directly on top of your potting medium, face up (not on lollipop sticks and not hanging from a branch, string, daisy chain, etc). Place some in your saucers too if you have them coming out of the drain holes. When these things hatch they come to the surface, but like most fledgling creatures they'll stretch their legs, try out their wings and stick close to home for a few...this is when they get caught on those traps. If you'll put these down just as soon as you start your grow you'll catch the very first ones to hatch and they won't have time to reproduce. When you hang those traps, the logic is they fly into them and now you know you have knats flying about your room...but at that point it took too long to catch them, they're completely mature, they've already bred and laid their eggs for the next generation. The point being is you have to break this 'life cycle' and the knats will go bye bye. All without the need to contaminate your girls or your body.

Concerns over BTI are unfounded, IMO. Check the MSDS/info out there. It's a biological, not a chemical.

Search for "Microbe-Lift BTI"......used in ponds/etc...a few drops per gallon with every watering. No more gnats.

I use same thing for every creature I come across habanero pepper spray it kills fungus gnats easily look it up I had a infestation I used this and neem some h202 and haven't seen any issues since

Sticky Traps for the adults, H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide) for the babies. Spray the tops of your medium to kill larvae.

imo. the least invasive. I am not a fan of using any types of insecticides, pesticides, or soaps, or neem oil (which is banned here for some reason).

and as hotrod said, give medium time to dry out between waterings and don't over-water. Gnats like it damp and wet.
